Shahrukh Khan Awards: 1983 – 2013 (Complete list)

(list compiled by Rizwana Shahrukh)

Shahrukh KhanFrom a commoner to one of the most popular men in the world, Shahrukh Khan is one of the biggest success stories in India today. An inspiration to thousands of aspiring actors and strugglers.

His contribution to the Hindi film industry has been immense, and through his truly incredible journey, the superstar has also won several awards, recognitions and accolades. The Padma Shri (India’s fourth highest civilian award), BrandLaureate Legendary Award from the Malaysian government, Lifetime Achievement Award at the Marrakech Film Festival… to fourteen Filmfare awards, Shahrukh Khan’s has won more than 200 awards – probably by most by an actor in India.

An Indicine reader, Vineet, quite obviously a Shahrukh Khan fan, has compiled a list of all the awards that SRK has won right from his school days in Delhi. (Correction – the list was compiled by Rizwana Shahrukh)

  • A middle class Delhi boy with no bollywood connection came and changed the equations of Bollywood globally… The most consistent star from last 20 year… I think the only actor who never needed a ‘comeback’.

Truely the Baadshah of Indian Cinema….

  • no one , I tell you no one will ever get that many awards , that many prizes that @iamsrk has got , its impossible to defeat him , our real hero , keep going man.

  • Srk is 1 of the best actor in india….really his movies like veer zara,mnik,k3g and ddlg r my favs……the superstar who had no godfthr in bollywood….his talent give him many honour …….really likd his acting in rnbdj, devdas, mnik, chak de india…….he is a good frnd of my fav. Hrithik roshan…..luv u srk…

  • Shahrukh Khan makes Bollywood. Without SRK, there is no Bollywood. The whole world loves SRK; SRK’s movies are the best. No one, but no one can do a romance scene like SRK. His acting ability, his good looks, his charm, his charisma, his dancing, and his dimpled smile all combined are just unbeatable.

God Bless SRK for the pleasure and enjoyment he brings us through his hard work and passion.

  • This is why I say.. Don’t compare Shahrukh Khan to any other actor in Bollywood. Because he is in a different league altogether. It simply does not matter who gave the biggest hit last year, or who crosses 200 crore this year.

The fact is.. 30 years down the line, the 1990 – 2020 era will be remembered as Shahrukh Khan’s. Just like the 1970 – 1990 era belonged to Amitabh Bachchan. Yes, we remember Rajesh Khanna, Raj Kapoor, Dharmendra and others, but Amitabh Bachchan was in a league of his own. A cut above the rest.

Much the same way, others like Salman, Aamir, Hrithik, Akshay.. will all be remembered.. but SRK is different. He is loved and immensely respected.

  • He is the God of Acting in Bollywood. Many actors, especially the newcomers, should learn from him the secret for become a star.. His energy, his passion and his love for his professional are unlimited… He has billions of fans not only in India and in Eastern countries, but all over the world. THE MAN IS PHENOMENON..

  • All the words in the English vocabulary are not enough to describe the miracle called Shah Rukh Khan. There is no one like him, truly! The way he connects with the audience through his movies… I have never come across another actor who creates such an impact. He’s the personification of love, he is a miracle sent to us by God.

He can floor even the best speakers with his mesmerizing, impeccable communication skills… No wonder, he is among the 50 most powerful persons in the world! He can make even a poor script to run for weeks together… With the cinema halls packed with his charismatic performance! The baadshah.. The king.. Success icon of a billion hearts! Hats off to you you’re the greatest!

  • A treasure of Countless Expressions, A sea of Millions Emotions, A Heart of Gold and An Idol of Inspiration… Yes, It is Shah Rukh Khan that I’m talking about… Even these words aren’t enough to describe Him.

  • never saw another actor who can touch your soul as he can do, he has a very special aura.
all his fans around the world can’t be wrong, he is a star who never forgot, that fans made him what he is – an he gives us fans back a lot of love.
    he is absolutely unique.

  • @indicine..thnq fr dis article……all those person who tell that srk buys prizes…they should see ths article…this his proof of being talented and dsrving..

  • This list was written by Rizwana, @rizwanashahrukh, not Vineet. Stop stealing stuff, Indicine. It’s not fair. You people have no integrity.

  • Shah Rukh Khan is the best actor, human being and visionary Bollywood has ever seen. These awards are just a part of that.

His haters hate him because of all that he has achieved, and will achieve. Let them hate. After all, sour grapes are sour. He will only keep shining brighter.

SRK, you be as cool, as hip, as awesome, as charming, as funny, as intellectual, as wonderful as you are. :)

  • Most of those awards mean nothing. There are way too many awards in India, everyone is getting an award for something. The only awards in that list which mean something, are the Filmfare awards.

Also notice how he has won no National Film Awards. Awards in India that mean something

    1 Narional Film Award
    2 Filmfare Award

The rest are pretty much worthless.

  • CNN International – Named the biggest movie star in the world

This is his biggest achievement ever being an Indian.
    Respect.
    Take a bow Shahrukh Khan.

  • Now it is proved that SRK is beyond the BO collections, content etc, bcoz he is a living legend. It’s a slap on the face of haters as well, who says that SRK buys awards.
and by the way, If a middle class boy bought 198 awards in his life, then its an achievement in itself for any person.
Love u SRK.U r the true king and those who are not able to engulf ur success are the biggest fools on earth.

and mudassar and vinay…ur frustation is completely visible with ur comments.Get a life.

  • indicine..thanks for the article.I know that salman fans will start abusing u now as they just had a severe heart attack. But its ok.Truth is truth and it shud be revealed as soon as possible.
    Good job indicine.

  • masha AllaH!!! I dont have words to explain his incredible performance…n the greatest thing is that, he has a great collection of hon

  • Now i simply want to ask a simple question to all those guys, who think SRK buys awards.
From 1992 to 1995 , when he was a newcomer and was not in a position to buy awards, why at that time, he got four consecutive film fares in 1992,1993,1994 and 1995.???
and why he got sword of honour at hansraj college in 1984.
If u guys have a little awareness, then u can easily assume , that Hansraj college has which type of status in indian education system and sword of honour is how much important for any student of that college.
So, do u have any answer for it???
if YES, then post ur comments, i m waiting otherwise simply accept that he got awards due to his talent not due to his tendency to buy awards.

  • all the above awards r great like
    ujala award
    Apsara Guild Award
    Lion’s Gold Award
GQ Magazine Men of the Year
    Hello Magazine
    4p
    ashirwad
    i didnt heard the names

  • @boss
    Improve your English.
If you are a Sallu fan, then its natural.
Neither Salman nor his fans can speak good English.

  • @mudassar how many national & filmfare awards salman has won?? how is salman khan even comparable to GOD SRK???

@sachin u think bollywood will move forward if “actors” like salman win awards???…salman’s movies are a disgrace to bollywood & they are a disgrace to women…he is started this trend of making senseless masala movies with cheap item numbers….yes SRK is also making movies like that but that is also bad for bollywood….but SRK is atleast trying other genres….salman has been making the same kind of movies for 5 yrs!!

This article is huge slap on people who doubt SRK and think that cheapskate salman is actually an “actor”!!

  • boss..i think ur eye vision is very week.Thats y u only glared at those award, which u mentioned in ur comment.
Didn’t u see the following awards in the list (i am not including all bcoz indicine comment page will left short) :

Yale University – Chubb Fellow Award for Leadership
Malaysian Government – BrandLaureate Legendary Award for his contribution to the Indian film industry and for being India’s foremost brand ambassador in Malaysia.
