It looks like yet another case of the media creating false news and then rubbishing it. Earlier this week, there were reports that Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan is likely to be roped in as the brand ambassador for Apple products in India.
But a ANI (Asian News International) report now claims that Apple does not need a brand ambassador in India or anywhere else in the world.

Reports of Apple planning to rope-in Shah Rukh Khan as its brand ambassador emerged after the superstar invited Apple CEO Tim Cook to his Bandra residence in Mumbai.
Khan organised a star-studded party for Cook who was on a 5-day tour to India, primarily to meet Apple developers and Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

And before someone questions “Then why he is endorsing more than dozen of brands”, you should know that there is a difference between “Endorsement” and “Being a brand ambassador”.
Anyway, Apple doesn’t need any kind of publicity as when it comes to quality, they lead their contemporaries with distance.
But if someone is required, he is the perfect man!!

Another rumor/news which later proved to be false.
Such news about any star are always exciting for his or her fans but the websites should confirm them before posting. Or at least they should clearly mention that this is a rumor only. The only reason of posting such unconfirmed news apparently is the increased traffic these websites get.
Appreciate Indicine that they only publish confirmed news even though at times I also want them to publish different rumors/ news related to SRK in excitement. But always better and more responsible approach is to give confirmed news after verifying.
Btw I have heard, Modi Government is looking for “Efficient” and “Energetic” Brand Ambassadors for the following fields :
1. Save Black Buck Campaign
2. Road Safety Campaign
3. Anti-Liquor awareness program
4. Awareness on Woman abuse
5. No terror connection Program
