  • I cant understand why so many awards shows for films. today awards shows are just an event where celebrity come and dance and for fees they get award.

  • So far good! Queen,Haider,Filmistaan,Mardaani,Ankhon Dekhi etc deserve their awards.
Let’s see who’s getting major awards!

  • Good to see 2 states win best marketed film award. Asambuddha Chattopadhyay’s wannabe favorite Arjun Kapoor has something to brag! At least he had a best marketed film to his name. lol :-D

  • In nomination list of screen was better and its look certain its winners list also better than other awards organisers.
Hope Shahid will get again best actor award and film should go to any from these 3 pk/queen/haider.

  • These all award functions don’t actually matter to me.
For me filmfare still remains the no 1 awards for bollywood films
I expect the filmfare best actor award to be shared by both aamir and shahid and the best actress award should go to kangana for Queen.

    • very true i too agree we people who had seen and liked the movie
aamir and kangana are the most deserve actors of 2014
i too belive that filmfare is not bikaoo
best films are pk and queen though
and yes how can they nominate also a movie like happy new year…this shows how fake this awards are

  • Impressive awards to be honest. They are including niche films like Filmistaan, Ankhon Dekhi. I expect them to give better actor award to Shahid, best actress to Kangana, best director to Vikas Behl and best film to Queen. If that happens, I will make sure to actually watch the telecast of this award show.

    So far, I’m mightily impressed!

  • I only believe in Filmfare awards….
It is running since 1954 & is the only important award which has value….
This screen awards is the second important award after Filmfare , running since 1995 & the third is IIFA…..
All awards except these 3 are useless…

  • Movies like pk,queen, haider, mardaani, filmistan, holiday, aankho dekhi deserve all the awards… And movies like hny, bang bang, entertainment, kick, humshakals also deserve the awards…..but movies in 1st category deserve national or filmfare awards but movies in 2nd category deserve kela awards, wtf awards etc etc….

  • Best costume design for PK.But where were the costumes it was only radio.
oh i think the award was given for costumes that was stolen from dancing car.

  • @chalaa:
I agree on that point! How did they give Best Choreography award to Jumme ki Raat? What was so great about that choreography?

    There were much better choreography:
    viz

    Bismil from Haider

Hamari Atariyaan Pe from Dedh Ishqiyaa

    Awaari from Ek Villian

Tu Meri or BangBang Title track

  • jumme ki raat deserves best choreography and i know why pk got best costume design- transister is back in faishon. hope he will talk about global warming and curruption in politics in pk2 cuz he failed to give right direction to all religions

  • Watched Tevar! Here comes my short review.
The first big release of the year Tevar is a useless, boring and poorly directed movie. Even the die-hard lovers of Masala movies won’t like such films.
Tevar comes among those catagory of films whom we have been watching from a long time. It’s about The same evil villians, a beautiful girl who is targeted by their gang and the hero rescues her like a Superhero. Plot is simple and every sequence becomes highly predictable. Nothing is exciting in the movie. Still, it has 1-2 good scenes. I liked the one where Radhika enters Pintoo’s home with his father. But such scenes are very rare.
Sonakshi has got more screen time here compared to her other masala movies. But here also she has played the same role that she has been playing in her all movies except Lootera. Arjun is irritating in his parts. Manoj Bajpari was good in his role. All other supporting actors are strictly average. The chemistry between the two main leads is almost ZERO.
The Background score is loud and irritating at parts. The music is below average . Only 1 song that I loved was Joganiyan.
In my final words, Tevar is boring, useless, poorly-directed and too predictable. It never excites you. Why should one watch a movie like Tevar? Watching Tevar is a torture just like eating tasteless and unhealthy foods. I am going with one and a half star. Stay away! It offeres absolutely nothing except a good performance by a villian!
    RATING: 1.5/5

  • so far…its too good….
best marketed movie should be happy new year…
    best cinematography- highway
i didn’t watched aanhin dekhi yet..i gave Haider best story

  • hero of the year alia bhatt what a funny joke, last year deepika got this award so now according to award shows hero means heroine so what happened when a male get this award then that award name will be heroine of year.

  • ”Best Film Marketing : #2States” LOL….. now waiting for those losers who were barking some days before that award shows are fixed, want them to bark once again & say that SRK’s #Hny was deserving much more.

  • Congratulations to Shah Rukh Khan? for winning Screen Awards’ Best Actor (Popular) for the 4th time in 5 years.. woow, well deserving…. people are proud of you SHAH..

  • Aamir doesn’t need any Award he gets rewards about his work.
He is the creator of Box office Records. Last year was only for PK PK PK Pk pk……

  • People would once again start saying that Srk doesn’t deserve the award. It is true in this case but the fact is people watch awards function to get entertained. They want a superstar to receive the award, give a witty speech and entertain them.
