Most families and couples in India dream of a big lavish wedding. But the reality is, the expensive wedding celebrations (and in many cases heavy dowry), ends up making the brides’ life miserable (and not to mention her family’s too).
The whole concept of marriage has been turned into a big fat business, with little or no value placed on the couple or the relationship that they share. This can change though. This week Aamir Khan’s Satyamev Jayate raises the topic of ‘Big Fat Indian Weddings’ and why this has to change. It is up to the girls and their families to say a firm NO to dowry and insist on simple wedding ceremonies.
The money wasted on such lavish weddings can be put to better use – could also be saved up for the couples future.

I live abroad and I married a girl without any demand and conditions she has changed and made my life hell she do not tell me what kids are doing she does not offers me food just cook and leave on the breakfast bar top. Like I am a Dog who will eat.Since 15 years she has been emotionlly torturing me asked me for separation time to time .I am from a very respected family and if any one will come to know about my divorce the first victim will be my mom that’s why I Tolerate all this .
She is adopted child by an uneducated couple although they died she has Used them too.
So many men has been tortured by women in the western world. Because women’s is always right in this world. I am just tolerating because of my MOM she is now near 90’s. But I am also getting aged about 58.
World is weird every one is seems vulture here soon one takes a Exit better it is .

Now the time has come for to say good bye to this selfish lady she has spoiled the kids . She is very dirty person by nature .kids are grown-up but same as mom tells them don’t do any thing at home .

I have friend a good friend who is very understanding and co-operating. Sympathetic towards me .So do I for m friend.

You have proved that one can bring about change in people’s lives by exposing the truth boldly and also by suggesting remedies to the problems they face. Indeed, for a country like India with such diverse needs and aspirations, social awakening and involving people to become the instruments of their own betterment is really what your programmes have highlighted. I suggest a few themes which could be considered.
1. Population control.
2. Understanding our duties towards our country.
3. Commercialisation of Education.
4. Discrimination of women at the workplace.
5 Stress among children due to peer pressure imposed by elders.
