Satyagraha Saturday Box Office Collections

SatyagrahaPrakash Jha’s Satyagraha picked up across all circuits on Saturday, as the film collected Rs 13.08 crore on its second day at the box office.

The morning shows were about the same level as Friday, but the film was running at around 80-85% for the night shows at big-city multiplexes. Business at single screens was pretty good too.

The two day collections, according to the films distributor UTV, now stands at 24.29 crore.

Morning shows on Sunday are up by around 10-20% from Saturday, but business does tend to slow down towards the end of the day. Satyagraha is likely to collect 14-15 crore on Sunday, weekend business should be around 40 crore net.

  • I think the budget of satyagraha is arnd 50 crore so it will recover its budget at the end of the week or midway down the week..

  • WTF…why wasting time in these useless movies…we only need news about k3 and D3 movies…only those movies have chance of breaking or atleast coming close to our king khan only super megastar on planet who has largest fan following and who has earned maximum awards ie Sir Shahrukh Khan!!!!!

  • good collectin not extraordinary but kind of zoned and pre release buzz its good satyagrah collected 9.75+11.50=21.25 cr as per BOI so having a goood chance to collected 35 cr in weekend
    its must watch movie and hope it will gets all its due and become a hit movie

Anyway Satyagraha is a movie that every Indian have to watch once … Better is to watch motivating movie other than mindless craps . Satyagraha is definatly one of the great movie ever made in bollywood .. Please watch this movie and then say anything about the movie .

  • @Miscl .. Yes I agree with you , i am not saying only satyagraha is a great movie . Madras Cafe and Satyagraha both are great movies with there own subjects . Each of both movies has respectable content .
