Aneek Dhar has won the Zee SaReGaMaPa Challenge 2007!
Kolkata’s Aneek Dhar won the contest after beating the other two finalists Raja Hasan from Rajasthan and Amanat Ali from Pakistan.
Amanat Ali was declared the second runner-up while Raja Hasan is the first runner-up!
Votes received by the 3 finalists.
Aneek Dhar – 3.65 crores votes
Raja Hasan – 3.53 crores votes
Amanat Ali – 3.43 crore votes

I want to congratulate Zee on selecting THE BEST singer. If Amanat was such a good singer,he should’ve tried his luck in Pakistan and not in Hindustan. He and other saale Pakees should understand that we Indians did a favour on you,Paakees by letting a terrorist like Amanat sing atleast and he should keep behaving well while in India otherwise,you all know whatever happened in Kargil…..

People let me make 1 thing clear that AMANAT was the weakest singer of all the three. Im saying this not because he is Pakistani.. he actually cant sing some songs properly.. for eg. he inssulted the song Saawariya when he sung it.. All his supporters pls accept this… His voice is unique and sings from heart bla bla is true I accept it, but his singing is not that stron as Raja and Aneek. And th ppl who are telling that he lost b cos he is pakistani, u know amanat got 3.43 crore votes which is not less and now dont tell me that he got those votes from Pakistan, boss max of the votes came from India… INDIANS DO NOT discriminate betn. Religion or Country etc.. otherwise ppl like amanat, massarrat , and the 3rd fellow from PAK would not have allowed to participate in first place.. FORGET everything, tell me how many competitions in PAKISTAN have allowed or promoted Indian talent??? ZERO…. These paki guys are lcky the are getting so much love and opportunities in India… rather than critisizing them.. and mind you the votes which amanat got from india , an indian has spent almost 3 rupees for that.. would any pakistani citizen ever care doing that for an Indian?
Ultimately I wanna say Amanat was really weakest singer so he lost. Raja was more famous but Aneek was genuinely best singet technically. Mind u ppl I was greatest supporter for RAJA and I had voted 4 him , and I was in a shock when I heard Raja lost cos I was very sure of his popularity and I think that HR has done some corruption… But neverthe less Aneek is the best singer.
Well….this was a no win situation for people who want to promote good relationship between india and pakistan.
If Amanat did not win… it will be ZTV wanted indian person to win..
If Raja did not win….it will be ZTV wanted an hindu to win
and that is what exactly happened… no one ever pointed out that within the top 3 two were muslims but they pointed out that it was india’s game.
few years ago in India, a muslim who could not sing won the indian idol… no one said anything at that time.
This kind of behavior has kept the two countries at odds with each other. Its about time we started behaving like adults.

I am so upset of Aneek winning this contest. Aneek does not deserve this winning title , It is all made up of Himesh reshammiya dirty politics in the show , showing Raja most of the time saying your performance is not upto that 16 level or 17 level etc. This is very rediculeous to here from such a noted music director and it is too odd to see him on final show saying BADA BHAI and CHOTA BHAI.
Few time back when Jagjit Sighn was invited for a Show he commented very well for Aneek saying that your voice is not matured and this is fair enough to make a decision for a TRUE winner. TRUELY RAJA IS A REAL WINNER and he will go too far in his carrier goals.

Raja is the best singer. i think aneek n himesh knows good maketing techniques. its better if they r in marketing field than singing. vishal n shekar r simply superb n in one episode when they came late due to some recording stuff n saved raja from the other two judges scolding him inspite of him singing well was too good. raja u r the “real winner”. =))

All those….Raja, Amanat, etc..etc… should nt be compared to such a great singer…..
There are several aspects of singing – Sur, melody, style, versatility, pitch, emotions and age. Aneek was the youngest (18) among the three. He was 2 years younger than Amant and 9 years younger than Raja. Still he had the best SUR, most melodious voice, most versatility and he could sing in any pitch. The only lacking quality was emotions, the soul was somehow missing in his songs. There could be two reasons for that one is his age and seconds that Hindi is his second langauge. Getting emotions is just a matter of little trainging and growing up, could easily be picked but other are your inherent capabilities. Since he excelled in all the inherent virtues, he definitely was a good candidate for being a winner. Rest was publics choice…. so stop complaining.
Anik was truly the best singer among all of the contestant . We wish him best of luck for future. We would like to make an album with him in future.
