Diljit Dosanjh is the biggest superstar in the Punjabi film industry. The actor, who will be seen in the Hindi film ‘Udta Punjab’, is seen flaunting his six-packs in the trailer.
Unlike the first film, ’Sardaar Ji 2′ won’t be a fantasy film. Instead, Diljit plays a farmer, who bizarrely grows big vegetables and makes headlines all over. Soon, he gets into trouble and the story reaches a point where he owes someone an amount as big as Rs 1.50 crore. That’s when he flies to Australia to solve his problem.
The makers have also raised the bar as the production design is concerned. The sequel to the blockbuster has been made on a higher budget and it’ll be one of the biggest Punjabi releases of the year. It also has all elements that make a good ‘Punjabi masala’ film – which includes comedy, songs, pretty heroine and a charismatic superstar.
Directed by Rohit Jugraj, ’Sardaar Ji 2′ also features Monica Gill and Sonam Bajwa. The film releases in theatres on June 24. Check out the trailer below.
