Salman Khan’s mother Sushila Charak has fallen ill at the Galaxy Apartments. There are also reports that his sisters Arpita Khan Sharma and Alvira Khan broke down and cried at the court.
The final sentence on the hit-and-run case is expected in a few minutes from now.
If Salman is sentenced for 3 years or less, he is expected to get bail immediately. If the sentence is for more than 3 years (he faces a maximum punishment of 10 years in jail), then he will be arrested and sent to jail. He will then have to approach the high court for bail.
UPDATE: Salman Khan sentenced to 5 years in jail. The superstar has been arrested and will be sent to Arthur Road Central jail.

Understandable for his mom and sister to break down and obviously for his fans to be sad. However the fact is that whoever commits has to be be held guilty for it.
Anyways, he’ll apply for bail soon and most likely be out very quickly.

This is not fair justice. It is an accident not murder. 6 month should have been enough as a punishment so that it would be lesson to everyone that law is above all. Court should have ask him to pay 25-50 lacs to victims family. Hope he gets bail soon.
