Salman Khan’s next release which was filmed under the working title of ‘Mental’, finally has a confirmed title. The Sohail Khan directed film will be called ‘Jai Ho’.
While the title is yet to be officially announced, Salman revealed the title of the film while conversing with Anil Kapoor, who was the guest on ‘Bigg Boss Weekend Ka WOW Salman Ke Saath 7’.
Not too long ago, there were rumours that the film had been titled ‘Azaad’. But Sohail in an interview to a local daily, denied the development simply saying that the final title will be announced shortly.
About a couple of weeks ago, in an telephonic conversation with the Press Trust Of India, Madhur Bhandkar had said “I had a title ‘Jai Ho’, which I gave to Sohail Khan for his next film with Salman Khan.”
With that statement, the title of Salman’s next was more or less confirmed, as sources close to Sohail say that the director wasn’t too keen on either ‘Mental’ or ‘Azaad’. Now with the confirmation coming straight from the horse’s mouth, its safe to call the film ‘Jai Ho’.
Apart from Salman, Jai Ho also stars Sana Khan, Daisy Shah, Tabu and Danny Denzongpa. Music has been composed by Sajid-Wajid. The film releases in theatres on January 24th 2014.
