Salman Khan 2013 Movies

Here’s a quick update on Salman Khan’s next few films that are likely to release in 2013. If everything goes to plan and his health remains stable, the coming year could witness 3 Salman Khan films.

The major holiday weekends in 2013 will once again be occupied by Salman. He is likely to go out of his way to ensure that he has a release during Eid. And why not? He has had a dream run with 3 blockbusters – Dabangg (2010), Bodyguard (2011) and Ek Tha Tiger (2012) – each film setting new records at the box office.

Salman Khan 2013 Movies List

  • Sher Khan (EID 2013) – Soon after the release of Dabangg 2, Salman Khan starts shooting for Sher Khan. The film will be directed by Sohail Khan. Sources say, this will be Salman’s most ambitious film ever. Due to it’s mammoth scale, Sohail was keen on having atleast 2-3 months for post-production. Salman though, wants it ready for Eid. The official release date is likely to be locked soon. Angela Johnsson has been offered a part, the makers are looking for a second leading lady, preferably a new face.
  • No Entry sequel – After Sher Khan, it’ll be a comedy film.. the sequel to the 2005 blockbuster ‘No Entry’ directed by Anees Bazmee. The much-loved trio of Salman Khan, Anil Kapoor and Fardeen Khan will be a part of the film. As for the leading ladies, there are rumours that Salman will be romancing 10 gorgeous girls. Lara Dutta recently told us, that she has been offered a part, but is yet to decide. She also added that the film will go on floors late this year. Does this mean Salman will shoot for two films simultaneously?
  • Kick (Christmas 2013) – After the ‘Joker’ debacle, Shirish Kunder opted out of the film, which will now mark the directorial debut of producer Sajid Nadiadwala. It’s a remake of the Telugu blockbuster ‘Kick’ (Ravi Teja), which was remade in Tamil as ‘Thillalangadi’. The makers have locked the Christmas 2013 week for release.

Unfortunately, the romantic film with Sooraj Barjatya has been put on hold for now. Salman is keen on doing the film, and should start working on it after ‘Kick’.

Salman khan will hit the jackpot again, and “sher khan” will definitely give Bollywood the new superhero and “kick” will re define the meanings of “action film”.

OMG I hope Lara takes the part! @Indicine, I also heard that Bipasha Basu has been offered a role in the sequel too! And is Angela Jonsson also a part of Kick and No Entry 2, because that’s what I heard?

@Jashan, yes. Lots of rumours. Lara is yet to decide if she will be a part of the film, she is a mother now! Salman wants Bipasha and a few other girls are likely to be signed soon.

@indicine I always hear about sherkhan and kick but no entry sequel is the one that I am eagerly waiting for, are sure no entry sequel is going to happen next year

@Indicine, Totally agree with you! Family is definately the first priority for Lara now! I Hope her dates and adjustable so she can do the film and spend time with her baby! Also, I hope Angela Jonsson is a part of Sher Khan, Kick and No Entry 2! She definately seems like the next Katrina Kaif! Also I wish Bipasha Basu is a part of No Entry 2! For me it would be a dream come true if the No Entry 2 cast had Lara, Bipasha and Angela in it! And for Sher Khan, I hope they get someone like Nargis Fakhri for the second female lead! She has a lot of potential, it just needs to be tapped! Even in Rockstar, I don’t think she did that bad as people said, because it was her first film, right? But I think she has what it takes to be a good actress! And, Salman Khan’s dream run will definatley continue with more potential blockbusters next year with Sher Khan, No Entry 2 and Kick!

Oho comedy by salman khan, it would be interesting to see whether no entry 2 crosses the 100 crore mark or not….
About the other 2 films abt 130 to 150 crore business for both.

@Jashan, I thought Nargis was one of the reasons Rockstar didn’t work as well as I had expected it to. Angela Jonsson, the next Katrina Kaif? I wouldn’t make such tall claims without watching her in a film. She looks pretty, but it’s not easy for an outsider to reach the position Katrina is in. And yes, there are rumours that she has been signed for KICK too. Not officially confirmed though.

What will be most interesting is.. the release date of No Entry sequel. We all know Salman likes to release his films during a holiday weekend. If it’s Sher Khan for EID, Krrish 3 for Diwali, Kick for Christmas.. When will No Entry release? Maybe for Eid and they postpone Sher Khan to a later date (since it’s a big project).. Looks like Salman is keeping his options open. If not one, the other for Eid.

@ahmed, don’t understand what exactly you want to know? The first comment you ask about ‘No Entry sequel’ -- it’s mentioned in the article, because the film is happening. Why would you need a re-confirmation? And in your second comment you ask about ‘Sher Khan’ first look?! When it’s released, it’ll be published here.

Another South Remake Kick.Salman is definitely the king of south remakes.All his recent blockbusters apart from Dabangg were mediocre films although his performance in Ek tha tiger is definitely commendable.
