On Tuesday, Saif Ali Khan and his wife Kareena Kapoor Khan were blessed with their first child, who they named Taimur Ali Khan Pataudi.
Kareena delivered the baby at the Breach Candy Hospital early Tuesday morning.
The couple released a joint statement which read ”We are very pleased to share with you all the wonderful news about the birth of our son: Taimur Ali Khan Pataudi, on December 20, 2016. We would like to thank the media for the understanding and support they have given us over the last nine months, and of course especially our fans and well wishers for their continued affection. Merry Christmas and a happy new year to you all…With love, Saif and Kareena.”
Saif’s sister Soha Ali Khan had tweeted “Delighted to welcome Taimur Ali Khan Pataudi into the world. Both mother and son are healthy and doing well. Father is doing extremely well”
Kareena’s father Randhir Kapoor had said “The entire family is overwhelmed and is welcoming the new member in our family…. Thanks for all the blessings.”

Coming to the controversy.
No one really care what the kid like. The little cute thing doesn’t even know that people are getting mad over an identity endowed upon him by his parents.
First the child is named something great, which i bet 99% of every child hate their whole life, and only 1% is actually gonna be anything close to what it represent.
Then, they will decide some “great” school, which again the child hates, cuz he want school to be enjoyable while learning and not just a mugging up camp.
Then, they will buy him big branded clothes, food and chocolates, while the little thing only needs a funky looking cheap dress and a 2 rupee chocolate or candy.
Next they will decide the “big” degree that the child will earn (read; Aeronautical engineering, Neurosurgeon etc.,), when the child loves to write dialogues for a simple play, just because the media and all others say these are dignified career options with huge pay cheques.
Everything is pre-decided. No one asks them.
Parents and Media are people who actually $crews creativity of every child.
