Yet another poster of Rocky Handsome has been released. This time around, it’s the lead star John Abraham who has his gun aimed at someone. It’s raining, John and his smiley nail polish are drenched, but that doesn’t stop him from taking on goons.
‘His only friend, her only hope’ from the director of Force and Drishyam (remake). Rocky Handsome, in John’s own words, is a film made to match Hollywood standards. It releases in theatres on March 25.

but the makers have choosen wrong release date , if great grand masti releases alongside it then rocky handsome might go in vain becoz their is already batman vs superman releasing the same day and we youngsters are damn excited about it
This film can be a surprise hit but won’t manage to be a bigger grosser than great grand masti.
This is the type of role that suits John
He is a quintessential action hero
He shoukd stop overdoing comedy roles as that’s nor really his strong fort.. But he thinks he is awesome at comedy which isn’t true, barring one or two exceptions

Dude, first get ur facts right. Irrespective of language, if the film is good then it will get appriciation and box office collection. If u look into malayalam movies, they are famous for only B grade porn movies, main line cinema actors are like uncles doing youngsters roles, i literally mean it. UNCLES. If u dont believe me, search it on internet (old age actors like SRK, Salman, amir look way wayyyy better than their age)
These days, where film hardly runs after 3 weeks, a kannada movie named Rangitaranga is running since 500 days in some multiplexes. So keep ur mouth shut and appreciate movies. Not languages, not region but talent

I agree that from 2001 to until 2009-2011, KFI were delivering trash movies, mainly remakes of Tamil/Telugu/Bollywood stuff with top stars with few good movies like Duniya, Super, Aa Dinagalu etc in between. But things have changed for good after LUCIA released. It brought the crowds back to the theaters. It was praised by Bollywood directors like Karan Johar and Anurag Kashyap. Even Siddharth (RDB fame) acted in it’s Tamil remake. With the emergence of rising directors like Rakshith Shetty, Pawan Kumar and Anup Bhandari, we get to watch movies like Simple Aag ondu Love Story, Ulidavaru Kandante, Rangitaranga, Kendasampige, Killing Veerappan and Aatagara. Even the latest Rathavara, First Rank Raju are getting rave reviews from critics and audiences alike.
Also the trailers of U Turn, Simple Aag Innondu Love Story, Devara Naadalli, Pushpaka Vimana are getting good responses from the crowd.
Also please explain how did Rangitaranga became a HUMONGOUS HIT across Karnataka and USA where as per your logic, KFI is a dud beyond Bangalore. It ran to packed houses here in LA as well. It was screened in 30 theaters across the US and is the highest grossing KFI movie in the overseas region.
Next time try telling “KFI is a dud beyond Bangalore” to a person from other parts of KA and see the reaction you will get :D
