Relive the past: Kaho Na Pyar Hai (Greatest debut)
We thought it would be a good idea to “relive the classics from the past” with a video and / or lyrics of a classic movie or song.
And what better way to start, than with the first blockbuster of the decade? On January 14th 2000, against tough competition with Aamir Khan’s Mela, a medium budget -- moderately hyped film, Kaho Na Pyar Hai released, which many believed to be just another love story made to launch yet another star son, that would fizzle 2 weeks after release. But Hrithik had other plans and what followed will be etched in the memory of every Bollywood fan of the era.
A mega superstar was born and the craze was unbelievable something never witnessed before. The star, just a film old, commanded most brand endorsements, was on every director’s wish-list, made it to the cover of most magazines, was compared with every other established superstar.. and it was just the beginning of, what people call the Hrithik Mania. Truly Amazing..!!

The greatest debut ever. One of the greatest actors ever. We always get to see something different from Hrithik everytime. I’m amazed. Who would dare sign movies like Fiza and Mission Kashmir after a blockbuster like Kaho Na Pyaar Hai? Who would dare take on a character like Rohit in Koi Mil Gaya after 4 -5 flops?
Krrish, Dhoom 2, Jodha Akbar.. every film of Hrithik has been an event for me. My favorite Hrithik films are Mission Kashmir, Lakshya, KMG, KNPH and Jodha Akbar. He was superb in Krrish and Dhoom 2 too.

I think Hrithik change face of India Cinema. Post his debut, Bollywood hero must be perfect + good dancer.
In the past the hero dancing make me headache and the present not look good in international look, just ok for India.
@ spiderman, no body is perfect. Hrithik make the best debut ever, and always in Superstar status and great actor until today, just accept it.
Unbelieveable! Unforgetable! Hrithik is not only the greatest actor of the decade, he is the greatest actorof the century!
