Actor Ranveer Singh has been finalised to play the lead in Aditya Chopra’s directorial venture that has been titled ‘Befikre’. The announcement was made through a Youtube video featuring Ranveer.
“Introducing the LEAD ACTOR of Aditya Chopra’s #Befikre Those Who Dare to Love”.
In the video, Ranveer said ”In case you are wondering where I am. I am at a very very special place. This is the fourth floor at Yash Raj Studios. It’s where Yashji used to sit and Adi sir sits, and essentially where I started my journey as an actor”
“About five years ago, I was a struggling actor and it was my dream to be in the movies and I gave this audition…and after many auditions I was called into this office where Adi sir sits. He sat me across the couch and he gave me the news that I was selected to be the lead in the Yash Raj film, and I sat across the couch but I showed no emotion”
“My dream had been realised and the news was so overwhelming that I went down on my knees and realised what had just happened and I started crying. Adi sir emerged from here and he saw me crying. He put his hand on my shoulder and said ‘You will do it’. And now five years later, I’ve had a little bit of journey as an actor.”
“So this is something that is a really big deal for me… close to my heart. Adi sir is such a good filmmaker. He could have had whosoever he wanted to be in his movie, but he chose me, that means a lot to me. That’s special, so I want to share that with you guys”

Poor choice Adi Sir. Ranbeer/Varun would have been a better choice than this monkey.

Befikre is completely a different movie from TYPICAL Aditya Chopra movies,that’s why I was expecting KING SRK shouldn’t be in that experimented film.even Aditya too knows KING KHAN will not accept to do this film.

Fair career. Did well in some movies ddnt I’m some movies. Too many negativity towards RANVEER what’s wrong with u guys. AC is not a fool to keep on choosing ranveer so give the guy a break. AIB then many of you ppl are still in the 19th century. Just 2 months ago Akki was chasing Ranveers record,finally Akki got luck with Sid brothers and now with public sympathy SIB. Their weekend is almost identical. So if you are an akki fan jealous of ranveer sorry it can’t be changed. If you are a Srk Salman Ajay Aamir Hritik fan you can continue bashing him you guys have the authority and veto power to do that but he is not that bad in acting.
Want aditya chopra & karan johar to direct the biggest megastar – Aamir khan. The day it hapens srk will go underground bcz that will create the biggest blockbuster this country has ever seen but unfortunately aamir doesnt work with only successful directors but with grt scripts.

Ddd was a gd film that did very well overseas (45cr) and avg in india mainly bcz of heavy budget. He has so far given 1 big hit (ram leela) 2 hits, 2 acclaimed avg/flop and 2 outright failures (kd and Ricky bahl)
his success rate in bo is 43% so far and has given highest grossing film for youngistaan-Ram leela (117cr)
i m sure that after Bajirao and Befikre Ranveer will get superstar status
