A few photos from the the sets of Rajkumar Hirani’s upcoming film ‘Sanjay Dutt biopic’ has leaked onto the internet. It has Ranbir carrying Dutt’s look from the early 90s – long hair et al.
Sporting a clean-shaved look, Ranbir has undergone rigorous training in the last few months to gain a more muscular look that does justice to Dutt’s ‘macho’ image.
While we think a slightly more ‘tanned’ look would’ve made him resemble Sanjay Dutt, the effort is visible in the pictures.
Under Hirani’s direction, the Sanjay Dutt biopic is one of the most waited films of 2017.

This is going to be awesome. RK blends himself perfectly into any role – no matter how good or bad the movie is. The fact that Raju Hirani is directing it and the story obviously would be very interesting given its about Sanju baba – a super success is on the cards!

I agree with you Indicine . If we compare the complexion of Sanjay and Ranbir they do not resemble each other . I feel this will be an acid test for Ranbir as an actor and Rajkumar Hirani as a filmmaker . If all goes well Ranbir will sweep all the awards easily . But if he goes wrong (huge possibility) than he will severely criticized . This is an unwanted territory for RH as Sanjay Dutt’s life has been full of controversies and mistakes . He is a very dear friend so he should be knowing many things about SD as a person . Sanju Baba has a larger than life personality in real life as well so to bring that kind of attitude will be a tough job . Coming to skin tone dear admin, plz go through Sushanth’s skin tone in Dhoni & compare it with the real Dhoni. Sushanth looked fairer than our beloved Mahi yet nobody even noticed it. Priyanka didn’t even look like a north east girl forget her dark skin tone when she played Mary Kom…!!!!

Salman khan himself has said recently in bigboss finale tat hrithik is best looker best dancer best actor..because he knew tat even if his movies earn thousands of crores he can’t compete with hrithik in any department….so the reality has come out of his mouth…still some ganwaar fans of him live in this dilemma tat only bhai jaan is superior ..his standard is way below tat of hrithiks. ..good tat he acknowledge it on bigboss finale.

Agreed Sanjay Dutt has had a rather eventful life so far but did that really require a biopic on it. And most of these Bollywood biopics rarely portray the real life & personality of the individual concerned. Most importantly Sanjay dutt has that swag which contradicts the effeminate personality of ranbir kapoor.
Must say I had “thora sa doubt” about their resemblance too,but with the pics above …I think I have to wish Ranbir best of luck! Am really impressed with his looks.
