Now that the teasers of ‘Raees’ and ‘Sultan’ are out, we are looking forward to reading a few ‘neutral’ comments on the better teaser between the two. Officially, both films are still scheduled to release during Eid this year and Shah Rukh Khan has said his team is working towards completing the film in time for Eid.
The ‘Raees’ teaser is arguably the best teaser of a Shah Rukh Khan film in a long long time. Dialogues like ‘Ammi jaan kehti thi, koi dhanda chota nahi hota, aur dhande se bada, koi dharm nahi hota’ and ‘Baniye ka dimaag aur Miyanbhai ki daring’ were delivered in classic SRK style, the sheer intensity of his voice (or something that’s hard to describe) is what took the teaser to an entirely different level.
On the other hand, ‘Sultan’ teaser is made to create instant impact. It’s a display of sheer star power and mass appeal, as Salman does justice to his larger-than-life persona. Salman doesn’t utter a word in the teaser, but let’s his actions do all the talking. It’ll be loved by his fanbase.
Which film will the neutral audience pick? That’s going to be the big question going into Eid.

If you are asking me which movie is going to get better ratings on IMDB? Then probably Raees. SULTAN intends is and out and out crowd pleaser and mass entertainer and the teaser delivers that message LOUD And CLEAR. Raees promises us a SRK in shades of grey, the kind of character we love to watch him playing but on the other hand SULTAN teaser shows us a Salman Khan in a chiselled but beefed up look, ready to take on the opponents. The background music was good in both, SRK dialouge was matched by that khoon me tere mitti, mitti me tera khoon. So what do I think? Raees promises but Sultan has already delivered. FDFS SULTAN, won’t be missing Raees though, the teaser was very intriguing and excellently done.
For me, Raees teaser is clearly the better teaser. By miles. It’s a film that I’ve been waiting to watch right from the day the teaser was out.
I would love to see SRK return to what he does best. Take on competition, give it back, act confident.. That’s what won him all those clashes for all those years. He’s been too meek and diplomatic in the last few months. Even with Bajirao clash, he was too nice to Bhansali and his team. It’s unlike Shahrukh.
Go for it sir, you have the better teaser. You’ll win the clash if you have the better film.
There is nothing to be worried about. Salman has just one good film Bajrangi Bhaijaan in 10 years.
To be honest , nothing comes close to the Raees Teaser – it is the most powerful teaser I have ever seen . Right from the dialogue delivery if Shahrukh to the background music , from the cinematography to SRK’s entry and his lion-like walk – everything was perfect ! And in the end , those kohl ornamented eyes warns u – Aa raha hoon , which is enough to send a chill down your spine .

Sultan Teaser lacks in everything – neither it has the good background score , nor the dialogue of the caliber of Raees . The only positive is when Salman enters the ring and performs a ‘German Suplex’ on his opponent . Weak Teaser .

The ardent fan of Salman also will say that teaser wise Raees is better. But if they will clash, I can bet that Sultan will crush Raees. As Salman is now synonym for Eid and at this point of time his fan base is much much higher then SRK.
My unbiased answer would be Raees.
1. The swag:
Srk’s antihero persona has always been a big success be it darr, baazigar or even don 2. He seems to enjoy playing a character with grey shades. Srk’s swag in the teaser is captivating.
On the other hand, salman is always the same character. Good at heart polite man. Sultan gives no information about the ‘character’ Sultan other than Salman playing the title role.
2. Plot background:
Sultan establishes its background only through the setting. Raees establishes its background by witty dialogues like, ‘Miyan bhia ki daring aur baniye ka dimaag’. i find the later more appealing.
Just to sum it up, Sultan is an all out commerical film. Raees looks more a combination of art and commerce. Ihave also read some background info about Raees & its story sounds like a kickass entertainer!
Ultimately, time will tell which teaser worked better.

Sultan teaser was quite good but Raees teaser was mindblowing and out of the world. SRKs voice, walk and the back ground music was incredible.
For some time I had remained a silent viewer of Indicine comments but I clearly remember that Raees teaser was my first ever comment on Indicine. It had that kind of impact on me.
My wish for Raees to come on Eid and let Sultan release too. Not practical may be but let the clash happen. I have complete faith in Raees.
For Salman movies, Its the Box Office Collections that do the talking..While SRK can only win polls, likes, views on Social media and You tube with his Paid PR!!! In the end, only Box Office Collection matters and Salman has been ruling it like a SULTAN
Why is Raees teaser so special for me? Before it I was a silent and occasional viewer but the ultimate excitement of that teaser resulted in my first ever comment at Indicine and from occassional viewer went on to become a regular visitor here.

I have been visiting Indicine website for a long time but this is my first ever comment. And this awesome teaser has made me do it. SRK vs Nawazuddin will be a treat to watch. Huge expectations from this movie.
Would request SRK fans for once to forget about 200 crore and 300 crore business or beating sultan and just enjoy good cinema. I really miss SRK of Bazigar and Darr. Just cant wait for this movie.

At first and for since it’s been a long time for Raees trailer is out… I have liked the intensity but after watching Sultan’s and the body language and intense look of Salman, I am in two minds especially for the scene where SRK as Raees walks past the smoke, he still looks a dreamy eyed romantic instead of a menacing bootlegger… Definitely Raees seems better is terms of story and grey shades of the protagonist but Salman has improved a lot and his fan base is tremendous and the teaser tells that it’s not only a Salman show but he has also did it with dedication… So both movies have there edge…
I feel that Sultan’s teaser, which is indeed power packed, is designed more to attract Salman’s fans and not the general audience as Salman’s star persona is ruling all over the teaser and not the concept. On the other hand, Raees’ teaser too is showing Shahrukh’s star power but here the concept of the film is highlighted. So I think, at this stage the neutral audience will be inclined more towards Raees than Sultan. Still, we have to wait for the full trailer to make any prediction.
Both teasers are world class but
1. SRK dialogue delivery was outstanding in Raees on other side Salman did not utter a single word.

2. Body language of both was the best of their career but Salman was a bit ahead.

3. Something new from both sides, but SRKk should get this point.

4. Background music of Raees was excellent but sultan back music creates goose bumps

5. On one side Srk said that he does not need a single rehearsal for the role, but Salman worked hard for the role and I think he should get the point.
6. Looking at the teaser both are perfect for Eid, nothing else but Salman past record…

7. Item song plus for Raees, will increase appeal towards masses.

8. Larger than life and masses will be attracted to Sultan

9. City audience will wait for reviews, both are looking promising

10. Initial of Sultan will be bigger than Raees, because of few factors like SRK 2nd release in 3 months, also I think as YRF is behind Sultan so music will have edge, appeal etc.
Rest depends on content. Lets wait for trailer…
@indicine. .. if analysis is done… raees teaser looks far more promising than sultan. . . First thing visually raees looks better than sultan… second background score of raees is way better than sultan… third dialogue of raees is very catchy but sultan tease didn’t have any to show.. four SRK looks menacing vth stick in his hand but salman looked akward vth inner wear…..
Finally raees teaser busted like powerful nucleae bomb nd sultan teaser fussed like failed fire cracker which promised a lot but delivered little..
Raees teaser is better on any day, it had a gripping intensity right from the word ‘go’ till end when SRK says ‘Aa raha hoon’ with his eyes, that still gives goosebumps and remains with you even after the teaser has played out!
Sultan on other hand is an average trailer which goes into ‘good’ category only and only due to Salman’s presence. There are hardly any great moment which you can carry after the teaser has played.
I am sorry (to bhai fans) to say this but Raees teaser thumps Sultan teaser by a big margin in a comparatively less run time (1:03 run time) when compared to Sultan’s (1:23).

I have seen the teasers of both Raees and Sultan and for me taking everything into consideration the teaser of Raees is better than Sultan . Raees was the Best Teaser of SRK in this decade, the dialogues were brilliant, background score was amazing and SRK is looking deadly as the Alcohol smuggler wearing glasses and applying Soorma in his eyes . On the other hand the teaser of Sultan is pretty average . Salman is looking good but the teaser did not create a impact like ETT and Kick . Also there are dialogues in the teaser which will go in the favour of Raees . Till now there is nothing to look forward in Sultan but I hope the trailer is much better than teaser . Also it will be difficult to judge both the movies by the teasers as Content is something which cannot be understood until you watch the movie but definitely first teaser creates a solid impression so in this regard Raees is ahead for me as of now . Before watching the teaser of Sultan I was damn sure Raees will win this poll as SRK fans always make SRK win when it comes to online polls on Indicine . !!!!!!!!!!!!!!
That walk,that fiery voice & of course the background score take the “Raees” teaser several steps ahead of “Sultan” teaser..”Sultan” is good bt i have to admit “Raees” is way better
I personally prefer the Raees teaser, it’s more exciting and its more of a film that I would want to watch on Eid, the background score in that teaser too is brilliant. Having said that, theres no denying that the Sultan teaser builds excitement by going back to the mass appeal of Salman Khan, the Raees teaser too goes back to the anti-hero image of SRK which is much loved by all bollywood fans. I think the winner of the clash will come down to content as both teasers have delivered to their respective fan bases.
Raees. There’s a certain level of class and sophistication in Raees’ teaser. The dialogues, the way it builds up the premise of the film and the glimpses of SRK’s superlative acting all topped up by that brilliant voice-over by SRK. Sultan, in comparison, is good but merely showcases Salman’s character’s name and a simple wrestling move. We know the film is about wrestling so the teaser doesn’t really ‘tease’.
