There are reports that the makers of Shah Rukh Khan’s Raees are likely to release the teaser of their film during ‘Eid’ this year.
In a move that is likely to strengthen their decision to block the ‘Eid 2016’ weekend, Excel Entertainment are planning a huge marketing strategy to taken on the all-powerful Yash Raj Films, who have announced Salman Khan’s ‘Sultan’ for the same weekend.
Ritesh Sidhwani had earlier tweeted that he has a surprise in store for his fans this Eid “And a little surprise for all #Raees fans this EID… chalo ho Gaya sab confusion clear (referring to the clash with Sultan)”.
Directed by Rahul Dholakia, Raees also stars Mahira Khan and Nawazuddin Siddiqui.

If this happens then this Eid will be the Biggest Day because it will be the 2nd Day of BB as well . Nowadays i have observed a pattern that Producers are releasing the teasers very early .
Have a look :
1. Azhar – The teaser was launched in Extra Innings T20 before IPL Final between CSK and MI . This is the first movie in Bollywood which released the teaser even before the start of the shooting . The movie is expected to release on 13th May 2016 during the IPL Period .
2. Sultan – The teaser of Sultan was launched few days back by YRF . This was done to tell everybody that Sultan will release on Eid 2016 . Salman will work with YRF for the 2nd time after ETT . The shooting of the movie will start in the month of November . Kangana left Sultan because she has given her dates to Vishal Bhardwaj’s Rangoon . The latest rumour is that Kriti Sanon has also been approached for Sultan .
3. Raees – Till now it is not confirmed but Ritesh said a few days back that there is a surprise this Eid so it will be something . I have heard that SRK is playing a Alcohol smuggler in Raees . Ahmedabad has been recreated in Mumbai Film City .
This is a interesting pattern which is happening but i feel it should not be overdone . Let’s wait for the teaser . Expecting a content oriented Crime Drama from SRK, Nawaz, Excel and Rahul Dholakia . Let’s hope it is worth the hype !!!
