The Ra One ‘audience’ verdict is quite clear by now. The film has been rejected by majority of the audience. After a strong extended weekend, the SRK-Kareena starrer crashed on Monday, fell further on Tuesday and Wednesday and had poor collections on Thursday too.
First day of the second week is expected to be around 3 – 4 crores at best.

After a fantastic weekend, these are some seriously disappointing numbers. A film that was expected to go past 3 Idiots, is now unlikely to go past the lifetime collections of both Bodyguard and Dabangg in India. It should just about manage nudge ahead of Salman’s Ready and Aamir’s Ghajini.
Ra.1 cost 175 cr (1 yr promo) earn 95 cr only a week…
Bodyguard cost 42 cr (2 weeks promo) earn 115 cr……who is in top?

Also, by saying Ra One was rejected, does not indirectly mean Bodyguard was accepted in a big way. It wasn’t. 110 crores in Week 1, only 35 crores after that.. clearly shows that Bodyguard crashed too. But the drops were lower than Ra One and it had Mere Brother Ki Dulhan to compete against in Week 2.

All these srk haters talk quite disgusting, if a film has a budget of 500 crores it doesn’t mean that it will collect 1000 crores in india if it is liked, actually a film cannot collect more than 250 crores…atmost 300 crores in india even if it is liked by all at present, also a major part of indian population is unaware of computers, video games, therefore it was always going to be difficult for ra.one to connect with the masses and do remember that ra.one has not been rejected by indians as it is impossible to collect more than 120 crores for a film that has been rejected, it will get a hit status only because of its enormous budget otherwise it would have got a blockbuster status, you should know that ra.one is already fifth in the list of highest collecting movies in india and i think you know about its overseas collections.
