Priyanka replaced by Deepika in Krrish 2

“Deepika Padukone, who is yet to make her bollywood debut, replaces Priyanka Chopra in the planned Krrish sequel” says source. She has starred in the kannada film ‘Aishwarya’ and has also appeared in television commercials. After a disappointing performance by Priyanka, this newcomer breaks the pattern and takes over, as both Koi Mil Gaya and Krrish did not feature newcomers.
Later this year, Deepika will make her bollywood debut in the already hyped ‘Om Shanti Om’, paired opposite superstar Shah Rukh Khan. She will also feature with Ranbir Kapoor in Siddharth Anand’s next for Yash Raj Films. Rohan Sippy has also signed her for playing the lead in his next film, featuring Akshay Kumar as a martial arts expert.
Deepika, however, is non committal.
Regarding the Krrish sequel she says “I haven’t received confirmation from the Roshans yet.”
