Like we mentioned in the report earlier today (click to read), Prem Ratan Dhan Payo has collected around 29.5 crore at the box office, with the collections including all versions set to be around the 30 crore mark.
The film did show signs of a significant drop in the morning, especially multiplex dominated areas like Delhi NCR, but the film quickly recovered ground towards the end of the day as it managed almost similar collections as Friday.
Basically, the spike that multiplex business gets on Saturday night, made up for the holiday in parts of the country for Bhai Dooj on Friday.
In circuits like Mysore there was noticeable drops at a few centres. Mumbai circuit too hasn’t trended as well at it should, but the film was super-strong in Gujarat on Day 3.
The collections from all versions (including Telugu and Tamil) for the first two days was around Rs 73.5 crore and the Saturday business will take the net box office collections of Prem Ratan Dhan Payo to Rs 103-104 crore.
So after a bumper opening on Thursday, PRDP had a solid hold on Friday and was steady at the box office on Saturday too. The trend most certainly isn’t close to as good as Bajrangi Bhaijaan, which went from strength-to-strength over the weekend.

The Superstar made a new record left it on the platform for others to compete and break it , non so far did it,now with a grand entry he alone is chasing his record! Hard to break but again give him credit to still come so close to break it.
Earlier I had predicted BB and Prdp to be 1st and runner-up for HGOTY but realistically BB recordfor HGOTY iS now very safe while 2nd spot runners up is now open for 2 candidates… PRDP and DILwaLE.
whatever the outcome Salman deserves lots of credit for 2015.

my son satyajit was telling srk didn.t beat prabhas then just because avatar earned more is avatar actor better then alll.my son satyajit thinks that 2 and 1 notable flims of solo salman and amir movies upto 2007 makes them legend…but the fact is srk is sachin who have rule boxoffice with his consistent but aamir and salman are sewag no matter if thet hit 200 or 300 sachin consistent make him more greatest….coz when salman and aamir were giving flop upon flop my son satyajit u were not born …..so u don.t know sachin game and consistent …….same as u only know now srk comparision with aamir and salman…but u r unknown about srk consistancy
So the conclusion holiday makes an avg movie a hit..have a look akshay kumar and if needed clash with other stars by reducing the no.of movies and by doing more good content movies lyk baby,hera pheri,welcome,s26,etc etc..you will definitely succeed you have a huge following even today in fact 1 of the best in india and acc.a clash is beneficial as it really helps for the buzz of a movie and when 2 big stars clash it is definite tsunami at the BO..if ajay devgn wud have done Bajirao then the clash wud have bern bigger but for ranveer its tough tyms forward

I think “Specter” has an opportunity to significantly eat into PRDP’s overall BO collection, especially since the latter’s WOM is exactly what it was expected to be (read average to lackluster), and its trends are below what was expected at the ticket windows.
As I and some other people were saying…. Same thing happend…movie is bound to crash on Monday and will remain steady for rest of the week but on the lower side…..the best thing happned for prdp is payo is it has got 4 day weeknd which will boost its collection …the same was missing in the case of hny…..
Even the growth on Sunday will be limited and will be around 33 crore…
And indicine…its high time u start giving your critics rating rather than business rating in your reviews..your reviews should be free from prejudices like starcast and potential of the business movie will do…
