Model turned actress Pooja Salvi makes her dream Bollywood debut in Ayushman Khurana’s upcoming film Nautanki Saala. The well-known model plays Khurana’s love interest in the film.
Apparently, both Rohan Sippy (director) and Bhushan Kumar (producer) were looking for a new face, as the character demanded a relatively unknown face. The role is quite different and an established leading lady would come with an image. Sippy auditioned quite a few girls, but finally zeroed in on Pooja Salvi.
Nautanki Saala opens worldwide on April 12th 2013.
