The release date of Sanjay Dutt’s next film ‘Policegiri’ has been locked. The action comedy releases in theatres on 5th July 2013, which also happens to be the day when Ranveer Singh and Sonakshi Sinha’s Lootera opens in cinemas.
Prachi Desai, who plays a software engineer, is cast opposite Dutt who enacts the role of a tough police officer.
Policegiri is acclaimed Tamil director KS Ravikumar’s debut in Hindi.

Policegiri has an overblown super duper heavyweight whos so out of shape that they cant make him wear a police outfit up against a slick in tip top shape welterweight in the form of Ranveer Singh. I think this will be a second round KO victory for Team Lootera, after the expected crapgiri reports flow in about the ‘rushed’ policegiri come in then second day on Lootera will Dominate the BO window.
