Players, directed by Abbas-Mustan, has had a free-fall from Monday, the figures are lower than many small-budget films with lesser known stars.
To put things into perspective, the opening of Players made on a budget of 65 crores, is lesser than Emraan Hashmi’s Murder 2, Vidya Balan’s The Dirty Picture and even Ranveer Singh’s Ladies vs Ricky Bahl!
For the film’s lead stars, their bad phase continues. It’s Abhishek Bachchan’s 5th failure in a row after Raavan, Khelein Hum Jee Jaan Sey, Game and Dum Maro Dum. For Sonam Kapoor, I Hate Luv Storys is her only career HIT. All other films – Saawariya, Delhi 6, Aisha, Thank You and Mausam have under-performed at the box-office. Bipasha Basu’s and Neil Nitin Mukesh’s last few films have flopped too.
A lot more was expected from the year’s first release. Disappointing.
Abhishek films mean FLOP ever.and did you know that he has told that Dhoom series was success because of him and uday chopra not their leading actor.ha ha shame on you.

Jr B is not worst than salman in terms of acting but his luck is very very very poor also he always choose very bad scripts like GAME.
I wish his luck will become good ,and his forth coming movies are promising.
At least jrb is better than hammering srk in terms of acting and player is better than condom ra.one and wannebe ocean eleven (don2) combined.its just bad luck

Players is another disaster but as it stars Abhishek , no one is interested in hiding its fate at BoxOffice

it was already declared the first super flop of the year 2012 . Who would be interested in watching a desi version of the a good Hollywood movie THE ITALIAN JOB. THE ITALIAN JOB was many times better than PLAYERS. Junior Bacchan should think or take advise from his father before signing useless films .

It is sad to see such a great actor failing.No disrespect to other actors but his films certainly rates higher than others and one wonders whether it is politics that cause failure to his movies.For me Abhishek is no. 1.
