Actor and comedian, Vir Das had to post a clarification after media reports began doing the round that he plays a ‘Pakistani’ character in the film.
“Guys! Given the sentiment of the nation, I must clarify that I play an Indian character in Shivaay” the actor tweeted, rubbishing media reports.
The actor was earlier quoted as saying “It’s not a negative role. I am playing a Pakistani hacker. I am under contract, I can’t reveal much details about the film”

Vir Das had also said “I think he (Ajay) has been able to pull off the story very well. I think nobody has been able to pull off action the way Ajay has done in Shivaay. It will be a visual treat for everyone. He called me and said come to office. His team of writers narrated the film and I liked it”
With 15 days to go for the release of the Ajay Devgn directed film, the countdown begins for ‘Shivaay’. It’s one of the biggest films of 2016.

Ajay is an unintelligent mind as is clear from his interviews and the way he has behaved whenever his film clashes, he’s insecure about the story that’s why he had packed the overlong trailer with Hollywood copied action sequences and the worst part is that public is going crazy and drooling over as if Ajay is producing an action movie too above the standard benchmark (Come On guys ! I remember the time when Khiladiyon ka khiladi was about to release and there was a wave ‘Oye Akshay Kumar is fighting with Undertaker’, but that was also in 1996)… There’s nothing of that sort… it’s not 1993 that you get mesmerized by a Jurassic Park film… it’s 2016 and the repeated sort of action stuff is plain boring, there must be a vision which only a genius director can provide to the film and Ajay is nothing of that sort… Hit or Flop I don’t care but I am the least excited about this film after watching it’s trailer and songs…
No problem with Pakistani character if he is playing terrorist and gunda then Pakistani character is fine
