PK is showing the best trend of the year, as the film is proving to be simply unstoppable both at the domestic and overseas box office. The Aamir Khan starrer has collected Rs 18.85 crore on Tuesday - which is the second highest Tuesday collections of all time after Dhoom 3
A centre like Mangalore has actually shown growth on Tuesday, as compared to Monday, which is phenomenal. Something that has never been witnessed in the last few years. In fact, in a few cities the trending is similar to 3 Idiots. Multiplexes are rock-steady, even mass-centres are doing well.
There are expectations within the trade that PK could set an all time record on Thursday (holiday for Christmas), by crossing the 30 crore mark and also going past the opening day collections of the film. National holidays tend to boost business by 40% and if PK manages that, it could get close to the first week business of Dhoom 3.
PK also has every chance of becoming the biggest grosser of all time and the first to cross 300 crore.

135 cr are already on the cards and PK doesn’t have any major hurdle for next three weeks. “Tharki Chokro” is all set to create history. Amir may give the highest grosser of the year second time in a row , PK may cross Dhoom3 and on top of that, it can emerge as the first 300cr movie.
I am not going to take it lightly anymore. PK has performed beyond my imagination and I think whatever I will predict, everything will be less only.
Also, PK proven that to give a highest all-time grosser or to break the existing records, masala genre is not the only parameter . You can achieve the same if you have a strong content and brilliant performances by the star cast (same as PK).

Tuesday collection was 18 cr. Being a statistician, I can safely predict to soon come down to 10 and then in single digits this week only. My final prediction-it will not cross 220. US market and foreign market is already not interested in watching so called biased “secular” movie.So collection has to come from Indian market which is also on decrease.
