PK has shown decent growth in business on Saturday. Even circuits that took an average opening yesterday, have picked up by around 10%.
The morning shows were down, at some centres the drop was higher at around 20-30%, which was normal for Saturday morning. Evening onwards multiplex business picked up all over. At metros, most plexes were packed to capacity on Saturday.
The film has collected Rs 1.58 crore in Rajasthan circuit on Day 2, up by around 16% from Friday.
The Aamir Khan starrer is likely to collect around 28-29 crore on its second day at the box office, as per estimates based on collections from a few centres.
Sunday will be huge for the film, as corporate and advance booking of shows is terrific. It will be interesting to see if PK can touch the 35 crore, as the potential is definitely there and the word-of-mouth is very good too.

as I hv already said wom is extraordinary.ppl r loving d film.I hv nvr felt as much warmth in a theatre as I felt today while watching it in a packed a centre single screen.maybe last time I felt like this in a theatre was during 3I.pk is a cult classic

Friend: It is actually full of comedy but yeah it show how religions are fraud and how religious heads cheat people, take them for granted.

Friend: Such great acting dude. I want to watch again.
Me: Nice. Which religions did they expose in the movie? Did they show how Quran is being misinterpreted by millions around the world to justify terrorism in the name of Jihad? Did it attack the core ideologies or did it mock the religious belief of Islam?

Me: Ok. Did they show how Christian missionaries are pumping in thousands of crores of rupees into India with the agenda of converting India into Christian nation? Did the movie question any core belief of Christianity? Did it mock Jesus?
Friend: No.
Me: Means, the movie attacked core ideologies of Hinduism only, mocked at Idol Worshipers and portrayed like as if all Hindus are fools?
Friend: hmmm. Not really, but yeah. Now that I think of it, I wonder why the entire movie was dominantly against Hinduism.
Me: So, what do you think the movie is really? Can you take a deep breath, think and tell in 1 line?
Friend: It is a hilarious Anti-Hindu movie with copy msg.

@rahul I m afraid to say u hvnt watchedd film bcz their is clearly a scene where a villager informs about ‘wrong number’ as a christian father is saying villagers to convert Hindus into christian as it will gv them a afterlife in paradise and also make their life better.
plus there r hundreds of mvz already made that toks about quran being misinterpreted bt some to promote terrorism.but malpractices in Hindu religion has hardly being discussed in films.so dont tol nonsense @rahul
*My Non-Spoiler Review* Saw PK The Film. Its not even half as good as 3 idiots or Munnabhai M.B.B.S… Where’s the originality Mr.Rajkumar Hirani?
Re-cycled plot of Akshay Kumar’s OMG – Oh My God. Movie intro scene and Aamir Khan’s entry reminds you of The Terminator films. Aamir’s locket is very much inspired from Iron Man’s Arc Reactor. Background score reminds you of Love Story 2050 BG score.
Aamir is brilliant throughout and the only reason to watch PK. No other actor could have done justice to this role other than him. Anushka Sharma is superb as Jagat Janani. Other actors acted well too.
One big problem with PK is Rajkumar Hirani. First half is very good. Funny and entertaining but problem starts in the post interval scenes. Film ka 1st half was written by Hirani aur 2nd half kisi aur ne likha tha kya? Was he even sure what he was writing? And then he said it took him 5 years to write PK. There’s absolutely no connection between 1st and 2nd half of the film. Too much of bekar ka drama, bomb explosion and all of a sudden terrible climax from nowhere. PK is Hirani’s worst work till date, but one of Aamir’s best act.
Acting – In one word – “Awesome”

Humor – Funny and mostly enjoyable but not suitable for family viewing

@Rahul: PK never mocks Hinduism! It mocks the unnecessary division of God by a certain group of people and the blind beliefs of people over dongi babas. I am from a Hindu Brahmin family, but Even I am against these superstitions! The concept of this movie is nothing but preaching Islam literally!!. Islam teaches to worship the God who created us and not whom we create with our own hands. Even though Hindu scripts says this but most of the Hindus believe in idols which can’t do anything. Excellent message to the whole world.

The climax of PK seems rushed.
