PK has collected Rs 183 crore in its first week at the domestic box office. The film has shown outstanding growth, not just over the weekend, but on Christmas when the film managed to collect almost 30 crore. Even on Wednesday the film was phenomenal, business at multiplexes picked up because Thursday was a holiday.
PK is the highest Hindi grosser of all time in its first week, and second in the all time list as Dhoom 3 collected Rs 188.99 cr in its first week including 7 crore from regional versions like Tamil and Telugu.
Looking at the trend, PK is almost certain to cross the lifetime collections of Dhoom 3 and should eventually cross the 300 crore mark. It should go on to be an ‘All Time Blockbuster’ too, yet another all time grosser for Aamir Khan.

Today I am going to accept that Amir is the biggest superstar of India now…I dont know why salman fans are jumping but the fact is that even after now it will be difficult for salman also to give highest grosser when amir will release his film.Salman and srk are equivalent these days salman gets edge at domestic and srk at overseas.Worldwide they are at the same point.HNY and kick collections show this ..the worldwide difference is about 6-7cr which mostly depend how the film was received…Any ways the top 3 stars are

As far as I know, Dhoom 3 Tamil and telegu versions added 10-12 crores to the Hindi tally of 174 crores…Kindly confirm and edit the article and if its not, do make me aware of it.
Moreover, I need to know, although PK crossed the Hindi screening collections of Dhoom 3, but couldn’t cross the summation of Hindi tamil telegu collections of D3….
So does it have to do with lower collections from south India due to Lingaa, or PK hasn’t been released in dubbed tamil and telegu, or the box office collections haven’t been released yet from south India? If it is the third reason, then PK possibly have crossed 200 in first week itself…After all PK is ahead then D3 in Hindi language screening of the film…will appreciate your information regarding this…
