PK has created history in China, becoming the first Indian film to cross the $5 million mark in the country. The film starring Bollywood superstar Aamir Khan, has collected $5.31 million (Rs 33.76 crore) in its first weekend at the China box office.
Looking at the reports that PK is garnering in the country, the Rajkumar Hirani directed film is almost certain to cross the $10 million mark (Rs 63.5 crore), which is more than the combined China collections of Dhoom 3, 3 Idiots and all other Hindi films released in the country.
