With elections coming up in India the high-profile Twenty20 tournament shifted it venue overseas, the schedule for which will be announced soon. Since BCCI has given assurance about the protection of the financial interests of all the team owners, this cash-rich cricket league has won the approval of all. Team owners like Shahrukh Khan – Kolkotta Night Riders, Preity Zinta – Kings XII Punjab, Nita Ambani – Mumbai Indians team and Vijay Mallya – Bangalore’s Royal Challengers voiced their acceptance of its venue reshuffle and said the competitive spirit would remain the same.
