Photographers ban on Salman continues at Bigg Boss 8 event

Photographers continue to boycott events featuring Salman Khan, as the event on Friday to announce Bigg Boss Season 8 took place without a single cameraman covering the event.

When a journalist asked Salman about photographers boycotting the event, the superstar said “What can I do… I can’t force anyone. I have not stopped them from taking my pics, they have banned me and taken a stand. All I can say is do it quietly, respectfully and not like macchi (fish) market.”

Asked if he would like to meet them and make peace, the actor said “I don’t have a problem, they got angry. I think they should make peace with themselves.”

The ban on Salman was supposed to end with the release of his last film ‘Kick. However, the photographers association decided to continue to boycott his events after Salman, in a series of tweets, asked the photographers to stick to their stand and not cover any of his events.

“This is what I call a stand. The photographers are gonna loose out on work, but have still taken a decision not to take my pics, happy for them. I would have immense respect for them if they keep this stand” the superstar had tweeted July 14.

Not too long ago, Salman’s friend Aamir had tried to end the dispute between Salman and the photographers association. At a charity event, which Aamir was also a part of, the photographers refused to click pictures of Salman. Aamir tried to intervene and asking if he could help sort out the matter. His request was politely declined.

  • These photographers can harm Salman nothing at all. Kick has proven it.

Well, Indicine!! Won’t you post news like what Salman said about SRK’s Abs and he would promote HNY on BB8. I feel you too love contoversies.
Then, please post this report as well.

Social Activist Files Criminal Complain against SRK

Mumbai: Social activist, Nicholas Almeida, has filed a criminal complaint at a local court in Bandra against superstar Shah Rukh Khan and municipal commissioner Sitaram Kunte, alleging construction of a ramp adjoining King Khan’s Mannat is illegal. The complaint, which is filed under Sections 268 and 290 of the Indian Penal Code, alleges that SRK did not take approval of the concerned authorities before constructing the ramp. Nicholas also added in his complaint that the illegal ramp is constructed on a important access road. It is causing great inconvenience to the people during the Bandra Fair, which is held every year in the month of September.

  • This is for the people that hail SRK a perfect saint
and king and hence, worship him. We love Salman
because we feel he’s our bhai, we don’t worship
him. We know he is imperfect like us.
While Indian Media do not leave out a single
opportunity to report any case filed against/around
Salman Khan or the alleged criminal charges he has
been going through, they hesitate to do the same
when it comes to the criminal cases surrounding
SRK. Call it the acts of his PR networks among
    media or any other.
Salman has been facing criminal prosecutions with
respect to the alleged crimes. All prosecutions
against him are going to be justified IF he has in
fact committed the crimes. If we respect the law or
are not the witnesses to the alleged crimes, we
should let the court handle them. Else, the blatant
statements by some people will be like they are
trying to be above the law and influencing the
    judicial proceedings and the court.
On the other hand, SRK has also committed crimes
in public. But SRK facing no criminal charges is
criminal prsection is strikingly shocking. What can
one call it, being a filthy rich person or politically-
well-connected? Some people say the ban against
him to Wankedhe Stadium balances out his crimes
at the stadium. The ban against SRK to Wankedhe
Stadium is just a precautionary step to prevent him
from creating further havocs at the stadium and
giving the public the required security and peace.
Hence, it is a penalty, by no means punishments on
SRK for his crimes in public.
Below mentioned are some criminal cases against/
around SRK that has been against SRK but only a
    handful of media organizations reported:
1- Based on the complaint of Lok Janshakti Party
national secretary Ravi Brahme that Shah Rukh, 46,
allegedly insulted the tricolour in a video uploaded
on Youtube, the Chatushringi police lodged an FIR
against the actor on August 14 2012.
“Shah Rukh Khan has been booked under sections
of Prevention of Insults to National Honour Act,
1971. The case was registered on August 14 and
has been transferred to Mumbai police for further
investigation. The case documents consist some
photos and videos too,” a police officer said.
2- An activist Indrajeet Singh Bhatia filed against
SRK for his unmannerly behavior under section 200
of CrPc (examination of complainant) in the court of
Judicial Magistrate (First Class) Sangeeta Tiwari.
Earlier on May 17, the Mumbai Police filed a non-
cognisable crime against SRK and three others in
    the Wankhede drunken scuffle case.
Complainant Bhatia asked court to charge actor
under sections 294 (obscene acts and songs), 323
(punishment for voluntarily causing hurt), 353
(assault or criminal force to deter public servant
from discharge of his duty) and 499 (defamation) of
the Indian Penal Code. Bhatia once again moved an
application saying that SRK is of course ‘not above
the law’. The application was filed in the same
court under section 156 of IPC to enable him to
    lodge an FIR against Shahrukh.
3- Shah Rukh Khan’s Driver was arrested and
charged under IPC sections 376 for rape and 506
    (2) for criminal intimidation for raping a 23-year-old
girl he 23-year-old in a hotel at Nalasopara on
    January 20, 2014.
The Bandra police has filed a case against Shahrukh
Khan on 18th June 2009 for hurting the religious
sentiments of the Muslims under section 295-a
(deliberate and malicious acts intended to outrage
religion feelings or any class by insulting its religion
beliefs) and 34 (acts done by several persons with
    common interest) of IPC.
4- Mumbai: Social activist, Nicholas Almeida, has
filed a criminal complaint at a local court in Bandra
against superstar Shah Rukh Khan and municipal
    commissioner Sitaram Kunte, alleging construction
of a ramp adjoining King Khan’s Mannat is illegal.
The complaint, which is filed under Sections 268
and 290 of the Indian Penal Code, alleges that SRK
did not take approval of the concerned authorities
before constructing the ramp. Nicholas also added
in his complaint that the illegal ramp is constructed
on a important access road. It is causing great
inconvenience to the people during the Bandra Fair,
which is held every year in the month of September.
To put it fair and square, for the havocs he created
at the stadium and Bodily Hurt on Shirish Kunder
combined, SRK should be prosecuted under the
following criminal charges on the top of the charges
he has already been booked so far.
    1) IPC Section 351- Assault (Punishments: three
months, or with fine which may extend to five
    hundred or with both)
    3) IPC Section 355- Assault or criminal force with
intent to dishonor person, otherwise than on grave
provocation (Punishments: two years, or with fine,
    or with both. )
    4) IPC Section 290. Public Nuisance (Punishments:
fine which may extend to two hundred rupees.)
    5) IPC Section 291. Continuance of nuisance after
    injunction to discontinue
(Punishments:imprisonment for a term which may
extend to six months, or with fine, or with both.)
    6) IPC Section 321. Voluntarily causing hurt.
(Punishments: one year, or with fine which may
extend to one thousand rupees, or with both)
    7) IPC Section 332. Voluntarily causing hurt to
deter public servant from his duty
(Punishments:three years, or with fine, or with
    both.)
    8) IPC Section 503- Criminal Intimidation (Likely
happened against Shrish Kunder. SRK attacked
Shirish Kunder from behind at a party and left the
place subsequently. Later, Shirish challenged SRK
for an One-on-One fight. Few days afterwards,
Shirish had to unwillingly patch up with SRK
because of the pressures from SRK lobby groups.
So, he along with Sajid Khan and Sajid Nadiawala
went to SRK’s house. This act desists Shirish from
taking legal help and criminal prosections against
SRK. Hence, this act amounts to Criminal
Inmidation. *This is a possibility, not an established
    fact.)
Now, just imagine how SRK was able to escape all
these criminal charges despite the availability of
    ample photo-audio-video evidences against him.
SRK’s crimes are proven and witnessed by
hundreds of people at the stadium. If Indian ruling
system is fair and good enough, not only Salman
but also SRK has to face criminal charges. Why
double standard! Now, the fans of the skeleton king,
    think twice before you blabber!
Admission: There was a comment by a certain user
on Indicine early this year. I have copied his
statement and saved it. And now, I have combined
    it with my own.

  • Oh no.Photographers are doing their loss and Salman also got privacy.Salman fooled the photographers and now he can meet anyone in midnight and nobody will click and post his pictures

  • Photographers are correct and stand with their dignity.
Salman Khan should remember media (read photographers) have a big role in making of a star but his above all attitude is just going against him.
Its high time now he should apologize to photographers association or else he could be at the receiving end.

  • We want photographers to also not follow our king along with Salman and not to click pictures when our king is smoking in public

  • a social activist has filed a criminal case against Shah Rukh Khan.
The activist claims that construction of a ramp adjoining SRK’s ‘Mannat’ is illegal. The complaint has been filed under Section 268 and Section 290 of the Indian Penal Code.

  • really???? but we are still seeing his pics… from dr. cabbie’s premier too… anyways waiting for bigg boss premier…

  • A social activist has filed a criminal case against Shah Rukh Khan. Now we hear that the hearing for the case is on October 12.

The activist claims that construction of a ramp adjoining SRK’s ‘Mannat’ is illegal. The complaint has been filed under Section 268 and Section 290 of the Indian Penal Code. Previously the local people had protested against this and very recently too, they had approached the BMC for the same.

The ramp is said to have blocked the pathway to Mount Mary’s Church and the issue has been taken up seriously this time. Now it is only up to time to see what happens.

  • why the heck is bang bang team not releasing its trailer??? and when is the title track releasing?? anyone here knows something??

@indicine do you have any info?

  • As a SRK fan i say let them Salman. The photographers are just like mosquitos, the stars have a little privacy and if they ask for that then photographers are banning them. You are Salman, they need you. You don’t need them.

  • Facing the Indian Media is like a live firing squad. But with Salman Khan, he handles them with the bullets in his hands. Bravo!
