UTV Motion Pictures’ has announced the release date of Kabir Khan’s Phantom. The film starring Saif Ali Khan and Katrina Kaif will release on August 28 2015, the same day as Ranbir Kapoor’s Jagga Jasoos.
A clash between the two films is unlikely to take place, as both films will be distributed by UTV Motion Pictures. We had earlier reported that the makers of Jagga Jasoos are likely to release their film on October 2nd, which sets the film up for a clash with Akshay Kumar’s Singh Is Bling.
A source had earlier told us “There is a lot of VFX work, which needs to be done and the shoot will finish in March. Then Anurag will start working on the music with composer Pritam. So now the makers have decided to release the film in the first week of October as the timing is good and October 2 is a long weekend.”
Phantom releases two weeks after the release of Shahrukh Khan’s Fan. A couple of songs, including one promotional song of the film, are yet to be shot.

Which means Jagga Jasoos will most likely release on 2nd Oct. I don’t think Akshay or whoever is the producer of Singh is Being will release it with JJ.
And now the possibility of Tamasha releasing on Christmas is less.
I badly want Tamasha to release on Christmas and if it does, it’ll most likely be a solo release.
Expecting at least one 200 crore movie from Ranbir this year.
Kabir Khan had made a beautiful movie New york but unfortunately Ek tha tiger turned out to be a typical Salman movie which lacked a good storyline.But with Phantom Kabir Khan should be back making films based on human emotions on the backdrop of terrorism

Phantom is one of my most awaited film of the year..
Gabbar can release on 3rd April but Furious 7 is releasing which will dominate the multiplexes.
24th April is also a choice,not a bad release date at all.
As for Jagga and SIB.I don’t think they will clash. Jagga will be more awaited,RK-Kat pairing,good director.
SIB can release after a week also.

Akki has bad luck for not getting a solo festive release
I really like those articles when any movie is postponed or preponed . Phantom looks like an interesting to me . Phantom is a movie based on Terrorism and i think it is based on the events that happened after 26/11 . Now with Phantom postponed Jagga Jasoos has also been postponed which makes for an interesting clash with SIB . These 6 months are going to be very tough for Kabir as he has to shoot two back to back movies – Bajrangi Bhaijaan and Phantom . There will be one month gap between BB and Phantom . One interesting point for everybody from 15th July to 28 August 4 movies will be released back to back .
15th July – Bajrangi Bhaijaan – Salman
31st July – Brothers – Akshay
14th August – Fan – SRK
28th August – Phantom – Saif
Last time i remember this happened in 2012 when 5 movies released back to back in a month .

Both Jagga Jasus and Tamasha are distributing by UTV. If tamasha isn’t release Christmas then sure Jagga Jasoos will be release Christmas period.
gabbar will be emotional social msg movie not a pure masala like fighting goons easily and over dance , gabvar is be directed by krish great director so we r also expecting , every masala will not be flop eg recent linglaa becomes highest grossers

I think they should release phantom in october or november bcoz kabir khan gonna suffer a lot due the shooting of BB and phantom at same time. It may effect on his product too.
