People don’t achieve even in three lifetimes what Sania Mirza has achieved at 29, said Salman Khan at the launch of tennis player’s autobiography ‘Ace Against Odds’ on Sunday.
“People dont achieve what Sania has achieved at 29 even in three lifetimes… I think she has lots to say, so before she forgets what she wanted to say she came up with a book. I think that was very wise, sensible decision for her to write her autobiography. And after this there will be part 2,3,4 because she is an achiever and she is going to keep on achieving,” said the Bollywood actor at the event.
Sania, who is friends with several biggies in the industry, roped in Salman Khan as a chief guest to promote her first book, and the actor seemed quite happy to do so.
The book captures Sania’s journey of becoming World No.1 tennis player in women’s doubles and the roadblocks that she encountered while realising her dream.
Salman Khan said that he has known Sania for 14 years, they share an incredible friendship and he truly believes that if Sania makes up her mind to enter the film industry, she will do wonders.
Talking about her biography Sania said, “‘Ace Against Odds’, is my story of an amazing journey and I am delighted to share it with the world. I feel specially honoured and grateful that my friend Salmon took time out of his extremely busy schedule to officially launch my autobiography.”
“We all have to struggle. I don’t think anyone has made it without struggle. All the people, who have not made it, have never struggled. Most of them have not struggled as hard as the other person. Everyone thinks that they are the only one struggling but what they don’t realise is that the next person is struggling three times harder than you. So you need to be working ten times harder than what you actually think you’re working,” the “Sultan” actor expressed.

Initially, you were backed by your father and Barjatyas but as soon as they took their backing off, you started giving flops after flops because of your pathetic acting and expressions.
Moreover, despite of giving so many flops, you never ‘struggled’ or woked to improve your acting or facial expressions (which you should have done!) instead you adopted the tried and tested formula of south remakes to save your sinking career.
Hence a ‘lecture on struggle’ coming form you is nothing else but misnomer .

Don’t bark. SRK is successful only due to Yashraj and dharma. These two were like foster fathers to him and were the reason he is a star today. He cannot be called self made, he was just lucky he was selected by Yashraj and not some other person instead of him.

Do you know that whatever Sania has achieved is not because of the Tennis Federation of India or any government support? She did all her own. It is her and her parents who made all the sacrifice to achieve this success.
In India no one care two hoots if it is not about cricket, and sportsperson like Sania, Saina etc., have fought all odds to achieve that.
The training and support an european, american, or other asian countries gives to their talented sportsperson cannot ever be imagined in India. The efforts, the money, the struggle these atheletes have endured is their own personal dedication and efforts.
All these so called $#$%# federations only comes when someone achieves something. They are only bothered about you if you succeed. There is no grassroots training of any sort in this country. Players like Serena and others trained in the world’s best institute as children, so do you want to compare them to Sania who trained in the cheapest and low grade courts with non-supportive institutions in India?

Sania is the pride of India, and I am proud of her. I would always put her ahead of any of the European or American tennis star. What she has achieved with the conditions here, she could have been one of the world’s best if she had born in US or Europe.

Everyone has struggled in Bollywood to make it big…. Some struggle to get success and some to sustain it… And some people are saying being a star kid means u r almost safe in bollywood then why are these celebrities (Abhishek Bachchan, tushar kapoor, Zayed Khan, farden Khan the list continues.. ) are not so successful despite being star kids..
I always feel bad for this non actor… Lallu khan truly deserves oscar awards and all worlds filmfare awards for his all time classic movies like bodyguard, ett , dabaang, veer, wanted, kick, prdp, tubelight , ready. Etc etc. Specially the scene in dabang where he. Laughs ! Tat scene will go down as best scene ever in the history of indian cinema … Lallu criminal khan and his talented bhaijaans . dont worry ur lallu is going to win oscar award next yr for tubelight….
