‘Against all odds, still here’ says Ajay Devgn on completing 25 years

Very few actors in the industry survive a decade, but only those with acting talent, charisma and fan-following manage to complete 2 and a half decades.

Ajay Devgn, who made his debut in ‘Phool Aur Kaante’ back in 1991, has completed 25 years in the industry today.

The actor tweeted “Against all odds. Still here. 25 years down the line. Only because of all ur love and support. Humbled.”

One of the few actors to win two National Awards – for his performance in Zakhm in 1998 and The Legend Of Bhagat Singh in 2003 – Ajay has also delivered outstanding performances in films like Once Upon A Time In Mumbaai (where he played the iconic role of Sultan Mirza), Company, Khakee, Apaharan and several others.

Ajay is also popular in the Singham and Golmaal series of films.

  • Congratulation to one of the greatest actor cum superstar Ajay Devgn for completing 25 years in the industry.

  • BAADSHAHO will be good too. But our foolish multiplex public will warm the theaters for crap Chetan Bhagat rip-off half girlfriend film. Foolish dumb public of India especially girls and youth.

They don’t watch good action flicks and thrillers. What they like is shitty rom com crap of Kjo with repetitive cliche ghisi piti script n boring non actors face with bubbly actress.

    Shame!!

  • Respect ajay sir as one of the finest actor ever and for his honest personality.congratulations.don’t worry about one flop movie u gave this diwali becoz u are a superstar and will bounce back strongly with baadsaho which will cross all the movie of socalled nonholiday king i.e 133cr.
With golmal4 u will be the fourth one after megastarbhai, aamir and deepika to cross 200cr.

  • It’s not easy to complete 25 years in bollywood but he did it . Congradulation to complete 25 years of Bollywood . He should stick film like drishyam , Zakhm , Bhagat Singh , Rainkoat .

  • He’s a good actor undoubtedly…but a man full of ego. Everyone knows that ajay has very less success ratio at box office he has given disasters n flops more than any other actor in the industry..instead of competing with khans n losing his money he should better choose his scripts wisely n release without clash if he want to survive for 25 more years..all the best ajay!

  • Before shivaay release : it is good to know that some people think I’m powerful ?
    Powerful my foot.

Against all odds my foot …

Black luck Ajay devgaan…. wish u white luck next time with sons of sardaar ???

  • Enjoy you 25 years sir, cause you don’t have much time left… After being trashed by Ranbir, you’lle be trashed by 2.0 and no one will remember your name.

  • @satyam 10:14,
Instead of giving just a proper comment u have started spitting venom here.U have proven ur mentality & thoughts even here which is full of poison & hatred for which u bhaitards r known for.
I like & respect SALMAN but u ppl don’t deserve it.Filled with arrogance & ego always cry over collections & argue. There is no place of humanity & brotherhood in ur heart.Just live in ur fantasy world but I guarantee u in the reality check u all r a big zeroes.
    I REPEAT A BIG ZERO!

  • Congrats Ajay for completing 25 years in Hindi film industry .. With Unconventional looks, no dancing capacity, no big banners , but yet still you have sailed comfortably all these years only with your pure talent, perseverance and confidence. Wish u all the best in ur future endeveours

Well, but whoever the gentleman here is saying that Golmaal 4 with crush/ decimate Robot 2.0 , i guess they are living in an imaginary world.

Leave alone Ajay , not even Salman or Shahrukh film will have a chance against Robot 2.0 .. 2.0 will decimate any other film in india if it dares to come on same day ..

I hope Ajay and Rohit will take a good decision of moving golmaal 4 to some other day , probably christmas, if they want their film to have a chance at BO

If fans of Salman , Shahrukh has the guts , then tell ur fake stars to release their films along with either Bahubali 2 or Robot 2.0 and see the results ..

  • Lol, only 1 blockbuster in 25 years. He’s lucky that he got together with Rohit Shetty, or else he would have been out of the industry years ago.

  • Congratulations AJ sir. You are a great & versatile actor nothing like bleatful overacting or G0bar stuff. If not Khans era you would have been among Top 3 superstars !!!!!!!!

  • Look what draculla is telling.Against all odds..my foot. Your father is a known action director so get an easy entry in to the industry. You are a good actor, no doubt. So do that kind of movies. I also love the performance in omkara, gangajaal etc. But realize that you look like a fool when you wear a pink kurta and start dancing (that you can not learn in 7 births) making funny faces. You are not a superstar and can never be one..period. So stop living in the fools paradise. Already burnt a lot of blackmoney in shivay that also clashing with not a so good movie staring a junior star. Now let some better sense prevail and go back to the serious movie genre what suites you. Forget about clashing with 2.0 starring one of the most lovable superstar AKKI and then there is galaxy star Talaiva. Else after 2017 diwali we might see you in front of BT station with katora in hand.
