Bollywood actor-filmmaker Aamir Khan features in one of the most awaited films of the year, “Dhoom 3”, he says he is not thinking about how many records it will break.
Reacting to reports stating that he has claimed that “Dhoom 3” will surpass the business of Shah Rukh Khan’s “Chennai Express”, Aamir said in a statement:”I am not interested in breaking records. I am an artist, and what gives me a high is to entertain my audience, to give them a good time, and to satisfy them emotionally.”
Aamir’s last release “Talaash” was appreciated for his performance, but the movie couldn’t mint too much moolah. The actor believes the challenge does not lie in building numbers at the box office, it lies in winning the audience’s adulation.
“I want to earn the love of my audience. That is what I am thirsty for. I like to challenge myself and do work that I have not done. I like to surprise my audience.These are the things that I am interested in,” said the versatile actor, who will be seen in a negative role in “Dhoom 3”.
Aamir has just returned to Mumbai after month-long training schedule in Australia where he had gone to learn a special dance form.
“Dhoom 3”,which is the third instalment of the Yash Raj Films’ franchise, also stars Abhishek Bachchan, Uday Chopra and Katrina Kaif. It will release on December 20th.

Do not count your chickens before they are hatched. Though Dhoom is a blockbuster franchise, I am skeptical about Dhoom 3 because it is directed by Vijay Krishna Acharya (Tashan). Aamir is the only good actor in the cast. Abhishek Bachchan, Uday Chopra and Katrina Kaif are really poor actors. It is quite likely Chennai Express record might not be broken by Dhoom 3.

@nipun, aamir does just ok acting in good movies with excellent script, whereas salman and srk do good acting in average movies with below average script. This is the difference between aamir an sk,srk. Now coming to hrithik, in terms of acting i just found koi mil gaya, jodha akbar and ghuzarish as classics. Whereas for srk the list is too long which contains baazigar, khkn, dil se, ashoka, devdas, kal ho na ho, swades, veer zara, cdi, mnik.. So hrithik is way behind. No offence to you n hrithik.

@imtiazlvzu. If Aamir is best actor of India then Kamal Hassan, Mohanlal, Amitabh Bachan, Irfan Khan, Nasruddin shah and thousands of other actors are foreigners. Hrithik Roshan is miles ahead of over rated Aamir khan. Even Sharukh khan is ahead of Aamir khan. Ask Aamir do to Darr, Devdas, Ashoka, MNIK or tell me 1 character of Aamir khan where he is been praised for his performance like darr, swadesh, chakde India did for sharukh or koi mil gaya, lakshya, Jodha akbar did for Hrithik. Aamir khan is always been praised for script selection. If John Abraham do another 2 or 3 more films like Madras Cafe then John Abraham will be next best actor after Aamir khan

What are the requirements of blockbuster film? First is script and when Amir does a film he makes sure that the script is super strong.. So script is done..
Next comes actors.. AAMIR alone can make a film hot on the trade but with Katrina and Abhishek , the starcast is impressive.. So actors are good..
Third comes Director Now here I want to say Aamir has done very few films with top directors after 2000. He has worked with new directors like Farhan Akhtar, Auhotosh Gowarikar, ARMurgados and with directors who have given flops like Rakesh mehra, etc.. So for him directors are either new or who has given a flop So Victor as a director will do a great job and make a grand comeback after a debacle like Tashan..
Now coming to music who better than Pritam for a superb action movie..
Finally the banner its Yrf and its the biggest production house of the country and so quality of the movie is hollywood level..
And as for promoting the film, we all know abut the marketing genius of Aamir..
So with all th factors going right.. The movie will take an earth shattering start and will surely emerge as the biggest grosser of indian cinema…
