Rohan Sippy’s Nautanki Saala has passed the Monday test, as the film collected Rs 2 crore on it’s first weekday at the box office. While the collections are about 30-35% lower than Friday, it was mainly due to reduced ticket prices at multiplexes on Monday. The number of tickets sold (footfalls) was only slightly lower compared to Friday.
The 4 day collection now stands at Rs 15 cr net. The weekend business should be around 20-21 crore, which is excellent for a film made on a budget of 13 crore.

It is not a good movie and copy of a movie which was just ok sorta movie .. its collection is not good .. it has shown a big drop after showing decent jump in weekend .. Srry to say this indicine but this movie will hardly be semi average at the end of its run so it has not passed the monday test .. if it would have been a good movie it would have shown just 10% less collections on monday as friday itself was on a lower side
And plz dont compare this movie with Vicky Donor which was a very well made movie

Nautanki Saala collections are not holding up on weekdays as Tuesday saw the collections fall over 20% from the previous day. The circuits where the film was doing better like Delhi/UP and East Punjab are coming down very quickly.
The film will do around 16.50 crore nett business in its first week and with Ek Thi Daayan coming on Friday it will see a big fall on Friday.
The film was taken by Waves Group for all India at around 12.50 crore but the weekday trend suggests that the share of the film does not look like going much higher than 10 crore meaning a 20% approx loss for the all India distributor and that too at a fairly low price.
