Bollywood superstar Shahrukh Khan, who has featured in two remakes, said that his proudest moment would be when someone would remake one of his original films. The actor was talking to reporters during the launch of Filmfare’s new magazine to celebrate 100 years of Indian Cinema.
On his remakes
I did two iconic films – one is Dilip Kumar’s ‘Devdas’ and the other one is Amitabh Bachchan’s ‘Don’. I never chose my films. Films and directors chose me. Sanjay Leela Bhansali told me ‘there is something in your eyes’ and then he asked me to do ‘Devdas’. Farhan Akhtar thought I could play the character of ‘Don’. But I am not thinking about remaking any film now.
On what would make him proud
Hopefully, a time will come when somebody will remake one of my original films and that will be a great achievement and proud moment for me

I had a marvellous time shooting for the photo shoot with Dilip Kumar and Amitabh Bachchan. I feel my life is complete now. When I was shooting with Dilip Kumar and Saira Banu, Saira ji came to me and said if she had a son he would have looked like me. They have seen so much in life and you can see that in their eyes. It’s a wonderful moment that they have given me.
Dilip Kumar, who couldn’t come for the launch of the magazine owing to health reasons, sent his best wishes through a message.

Great News King Shah Rukh Khan and Srkians worldwide.
News is reaching us that Ram Gopal Varma has bought the remaking rights for Don. Yes apparently Ramu has met with Ritiesh and Farhan and wants to remake their version of DON and not the classic 70’s version. Ramu with afew tweaks will turn Don into a ‘Don meets Bhoot’ horror stroke comical movie. Unfortunately John Abraham and Arjun Rampal have no available dates for the 30 day shoot so Ramu will rope in Shreyas Talpade. This is amazing news, first SRK movie to be remade in 20 years and its gonna be essayed by SRKs ‘reel’ life duplicate aka Shreyas. Ramu you rock and lets hope your version of Don is atleast more entertaining than the farcical one released by Rxcel in 2006. :-P

Sajid Khan wants to remake SRKs classic DDLJ and wishes to cast Ajay opposite Kajol. Wow Sajid thats great news, unfortunately Amrish Puri is no more so Sajid will keep all srkians happy and will keep ‘mogambos’ role alive by asking king Srk to essay that role of Simrans dad.
Shirish Kunder has tweeted that he will be the film editor and admits that due to the age difference and physical appearance of srk, Red Chillies VFX team will need to work wonders on SRK so he can look young enough to match Amrish Puris appearance from the first movie. :-P

Pooja Bhatt who tasted success with 2012’s Jism 2 has persuaded YRF to sell her the remake rights of JTHJ. Pooja was elated and promises fans of SRK that if they were turned on by the super hot steamy 30 second lovemaking scene of Kat and Srk then they aint seen nothing yet. :-) Pooja will cast Tusshar Kapoor as Major Samar. Pooja feels that seeing Tusshar act as a mute in 3 Golmaal movies is enough to convince her that he too can act as convincing as Srk did in his coma like state in the second half of JTHJ. Opposite Tusshar Pooja hopes to rope in Pakistani sex symbol Veena Malik and Canadian Porn Star Sunny Leone. Sunny will essay Kats role as Pooja feels Kat and Sunnys acting is of a similar standard- both are expressionless and both need a hindi voice over for dubbing. Pooja Bhatt said that she may have a very small but discreet role in JTHJ remake for Srk in order to keep the ‘overseas’ srkian fanbase happy and that would be seeing/ hearing our King Srk essay the role of Jesus. ;-)
