My Name is Khan is a film directed by one of the best directors of Indian Cinema – Karan Johar. An Indian Drama released in 2010 under Dharma Productions and Red Chillies Entertainment. With a star studded starcast comprising of actors like Shahrukh Khan, Kajol, Jimy Shergill and many others, the movie turned the impression of Indian cinema not only in Asian countries but also worldwide.
My Name Is Khan’s distribution rights were brought by Fox Star Entertainment for a humongous amount. The story was put together very well by Karan Johar and Shibani Bhatija and the rest was carried on by the actors. The film created a great deal of publicity for itself even before its released.
More than 2 years later, the movie is still making lots of noise in the International market. Due to it’s huge success, it was recently telecasted in London on Channel 4 at 12.20am. The response was so good that My Name Is Khan started Trending on Twitter. People have been tweeting their thoughts and views since then.

many consider swades and chak de india are srk’s greatest performance.but in my opinion the acting of srk in my name is khan is not only his best till date but also best in the history of Indian cinema.I am not saying this because i am his biggest fan but because i myself is a autistic person which srk played so brilliantly in this film.
in swades and chak de there were shades of real shahrukh khan in the characters but in mnik he was looking like a different character.
MNIK was a mishmash of rainman & forrest gump.& it was a utter nonsense. thats why people in india rejected it & it was just an average fair. so many distributors & sub-distributors lost their money on it..

Man how can anyone compare this masterpiece to Bodyguard? While i agree that bodyguard was different kinda fun, MNIK is an emotional roller coaster.. Only film in the recent history that i can relate to this in terms of emotional backing is Thare Zameen Par! So MNIK is artistically and story wise light years ahead of ready, bodyguar or dabaang.. If u value true logic, then u can’t really see that in the recent sallu movies!

@tejas the all time blockbuster were remakes of super hit south movie so no need to boast about it. Any way Sallu is nothing without remakes and only because of remake he came up. And the thing is irfan khan, hitrik, ranbir are better than Sallu in acting and yes tell your lame Sallu to do different roles then u will know how lame he is. All the time action with remake.

I went into the theatre to see Karan Johar’s movie starring SRK and Kajol.
I came out of the theatre with Rizwan Khan and his wife Mandira in mind and their life story and I cried my heart off So, my head hurts…
Shah Rukh Khan is the greatest actor of this century. His performance ,acting ,love towards his work and his devotions towards the peopel because after that film he has become the real public pro-pert. SRK took his acting to the next level…

king srk (per clean hit) film avg collects 39.92 Cr at the box office in india.
so lallu fans please stop barking.your idol was never the biggest star.it is proved srk was the biggest superstar of the last two decades because his per clean hit film generates more money than any star.
