The makers of ‘MSG – The Messenger’ have officially announced the first 4 day collections of their film as Rs 61.15 crore at the domestic box office. In a statement, the producers of the film claim that the film is already a blockbuster.
As per trade estimates though, the film has collected around Rs 10.5 – 11 crore net in 5 days. The makers of the film had tie-ups with PVR and quite a few shows were block-booked for devotees and followers of Sant Gurmeet Ram Rahim Singh Insan. A few shows were marked as ‘sold out’ (i.e the normal audience couldn’t buy tickets) but the screening only had about 20-30 people watching the film.
There are also reports that the sequel of film will be released soon.

Analysts like Komal Nahta, Taran Adarsh had quoted Krrish 3 figures close to Porducer’s figures. It’s only BOI which created the controversy. Here every single trade person is saying 12 crores while the producers are saying 60 crores.
The big difference is the verdict of trade is unanimously against MSG’s producer figures while many verified analysts had supported K3 figure.
