Mr X has just completed a poor weekend at the box office. The film took a slow start on Friday, dropped on Saturday and failed to show any major growth in business on Sunday.
The distributors share for the first weekend stands at around 7.25 crore, which is a little lower than what the makers spent on marketing the film.
The drop on Saturday pretty much sealed the fate of Emraan Hashmi’s first release of 2015. The occupancy has dropped further on Monday and if the film falls by 50% or more from Friday, Mr X could be yet another disaster this year.
The big question is, can Emraan Hashmi recover from 6 back-to-back failures? He should, because his next film, Hamari Adhuri Kahaani has been directed by Mohit Suri. The pre-release reports for the film are excellent.

- Friday – 4.5 crore
- Saturday – 4.39 crore
- Sunday – 5.1 crore
- Total collections – 13.99 crore
sunday collection should had been first day collection of mrx best of luck emraan for hamaari adhuri kahaani it will be definitely hit or superhit.
Lifetime collections will not touch 25crs. as Avengers is coming next week.
