The Mumbai Cricket Association has finally decided to lift the ban on Shah Rukh Khan at the Stadium in Mumbai. According to Times of India, the decision was taken in a Managing Committee meeting of the MCA on Sunday.
Back in 2012, SRK was banned for five years after he allegedly verbally abused a security guard and the MCA officials, soon after a game featuring his team Kolkata Knight Riders against the Mumbai Indians.
The ban was supposed to end in 2017, but MCA officials decided to lift the ban since SRK has already served a substantial period of the ban period ‘respectfully’ without trying to enter the stadium at any stage.
TOI also reports that the news is likely to find favour with the BCCI and the IPL Governing Council chairman Rajiv Shukla. Both the parties weren’t too pleased about the fact that an IPL team owner and one of the most popular faces of the league could not enter one of the most famous cricket stadiums in the country.
i feel 5 year ban for srk was too much.

I doubt SRK cares one bit. A huge superstar like him would have other things to do than bother about entering a cricket stadium. And he was right to protect his daughter.

Feel sad for the mumbaikars, their honeymoon period that they were enjoying since the ban in the wankhede will end with our SRK’s re-entry , now they will helplessly have to see his face in the stadium , have to bear with his over-the-top monkey like antics & his brain-damaging irritating nautankis that he keeps doing in the stadium every now & then and add to that the ever-irritating KKR’s theme song & ‘lungi dance’ being played in the background, oh man it would be literally be a hellish experience, really feel sorry for the people who had great time all these days when the ban was in effect, back to the hellish days guys :D :D
