Main Tera Hero has passed the Monday test with flying colours. The film has collected Rs 4.1 crore on Day 4 to take its cumulative total to 25.02 crore.
It was important for the film to hold up well on its first weekday, as it lost around 5-6 crore over the weekend due to the cricket matches. With today being a holiday in parts of the country for ‘Rama Navami’, business could get close to the 4.5 – 5 crore mark, which will help the David Dhawan entertainer to net around 30 crore in 5 days.
The Monday business is better than films like Shaadi Ke Side Effects (2.4 cr) and Hasee Toh Phasee (2.92 cr), but slightly lower than Ragini MMS 2 (4.5 crore).
The first week business is likely to be around Rs 36.5 crore.
Main Tera Hero will be competing against Amitabh Bachchan’s Bhootnath this coming weekend at the box office.

Varun Dhawan has emerged as star. he can pull both classes and masses. Slowly and steadily, he’ll reach Ranveer & Ranbir level in couple of years.
People vouched for Sidharth, ARK and Sushant but if you look at the craze. It’s Varun who is an all rounder. He can act, dance really well, pull of comic, action and romantic scenes, he is good looking and has a rocking body. He has lot of charisma and screen presence. He has pretty good upcoming films. Humpty Sharma Ki Dhulania – New Age rom-com set in Delhi. Sriram Raghvan’s next with Nawazuddin Siddiqui and Huma Qureshi and will also have famous female lead who will be much older than Varun. He has ABCD 2 – Las Vegas based dance movie. Then finally a tragic drama with Mohit Suri.
This guy is sure a blue chipper. And will come out on top in coming years. Sorry not a fan. I became one after seeing MTH. It wasn’t a pathbreaking role. But he was too easy on eyes and looked convincible. He mesmerizes you with his charm. Cant wait to see more of him
