Main Tera Hero and Ragini MMS 2 Success Party Photos

Main Tera Hero and Ragini MMS 2 have both done well at the box office. While Ragini MMS 2 opened well due to its ‘erotic horror’ genre, Main Tera Hero has taken a good start because of comedy and the fact that David Dhawan films command a strong following in mass centres.

Sonakshi Sinha, who has been a part of Balaji films like Once Upon A Time In Mumbaai Dobara, was present. And so were the lead couple of ‘2 States’ Alia Bhatt and Arjun Kapoor.

The lead stars of Main Tera Hero, Varun Dhawan, Ileana D’Cruz and Nargis Fakhri, also celebrated the success of their film. Sunny Leone missed out.

Several other celebrities were also present for the grand success party. Check out the exclusive photos!

  • Awesome
Movie has recovered all budget amount before release. 50cr+ for Main Tera Hero for sure.
    Ragini MMS 2 too.

Happy for Balaji after 3 flops last year.

Varun looks good with Ileana. But Sonakshi looks HOT

  • @Indicine as we all know the budget of main tere hero is 40 cr and till know the film collectected 30 cr,so how come they celebrate if the film still didnt recover his budget???? BTW rmm2 has recovered and it is done well but varun dhawan film till needs magic to recover his budget as it will face big b’s film this upcoming friday

  • exactly…how is it a success?? whats happening in the industry??when boss collected 72 crores to a budget of 58 crores, you called it average..but now for this crap, against a budget of 50 crores, as soon as 30 crores is made, its a success?? please explain. and logically!! thanks.

  • @praveen Logically speaking a film does not to recover its budget to be called a success as long term the goal here is to establish Varun in the industry so investing in his career at this stage is a long term strategy for Balaji. If he becomes a Star/ Superstar then long term he will look favourably upon Balajis future projects like Emraan does with Vishesh Films as an example. The hope is a star will sign on the dotted line more due to friendship than business related motives so future costs can be kept down respectfully. PS Its worth noting how he can still pull in audiences to earn 35-40cr on his own and for Akshay pulling in 75cr is average considering he can pull in around 130cr worth of business afew yrs earlier with films like Rowdy Rathore n HF2. Budgets are script dependant and if film needs lavish sets, outside location shoots, overseas shoots, costume built sets etc etc then one cannot keep costs down and hence you get David Dhawan demanding that his film will cost 30cr to be made and who can turn him down considering how much business he generated in the 90’s…? The mans films are larger than life so that means producers must have huge pockets otherwise why should he direct on a shoe string peanuts budget. Also satelite rights n music rights are taken into account and distribution rights so for Balaji MTH may turn into a profitable venture at this stage so if they happy then why should we rain on their parade…?

  • @navin..thanks bhai. after a long time i’m getting a better reply, and that too balanced one in indicine. really, it was a question for me, for a long time. not only boss, but other movies of other superstars too!!
