The week one collections are out and the audience verdict is clear. Love Story 2050 has been rejected by moviegoers in India as well as overseas. The movie directed and produced by Harry Baweja fell heavily on Monday and the poor collections continued throughout the weekdays. Day 1 of Week 2 (Friday) was no better either.
Shows at multiplexes have been reduced this week and the Harman Baweja – Priyanka Chopra starrer has been taken off at many single screens across the country. The distributors will loose heavily in almost every circuit.
The first week all India collections are about 11.45 crores, which is extremely poor considering the fact that LS 2050 had a wide release (700+ prints) in India. The movie is a huge looser, unless something extraordinary happens, which is highly unlikely.
The business overseas continues to be poor.

This kind of movies r totally junk for Bollywood, n shld be thrown out in garbage. Just plotting something extraordinarily new is nothing other than madness. Harry has no any talent of his own, other than imitating others’ ideas. He shld learn a great lesson from this failure, n beware to repeat it in future again……Go to hell LS 2050.
I think harry baweja should have titled it “Flop Story 2008”. From now on harman should be offered only for flop movies.

I think ls2050 is not an extraordinary film but the way it has been criticized is not right either.
It’s not that bad actually.The music is good and the special effects are brilliant.As a newcomer,Harman tried to give his best and so i think he should not be criticized.
It’s a watchable film with family and i had a decent time while watching it.
People should not thrash a newcomer in this manner.We should praise harman as this is his first attempt.
Although he failed to live up to the hype of the movie,but definitely he will come back strong in his next project.

The film suffers primarily because it is an ‘Indian’ film with a totally ‘Western’ ethos, which doesn’t always succeed at the box-office. In India, people accept such films only if they are Hollywood-imported. Besides, I wonder why Indian filmmakers still insist on adding the song-dance routine, instead of just making a robust, two hour straight-liner that sticks to the main plot?? We have love stories made in Hollywood too but none of them have the lead stars breaking into a song in a jiffy. Must say, our films have made rapid advancements as far as technique and style are concerned, but not so much with regard to the narrative flow of the basic storyline, juxtaposed as it is, with too many of such diverse elements.

hey guys its not so bad i think u people hav forgotton movies like sawarya and many more it is still better than those v should try to appreciate new comers and obviously its a new idea there is no movie like this before, its some thing new and we should try to appreciate it ,the songs r nice ,hermans dance is fantastic and he is hot too. he and the film should not be criticized in this way

priyanka chopra can’t act, she is just there to make the film look good. there is no chemistry between harman and priyanka, they are a mismatched pair, even in real life !!
priyanka chopra also has the most ugliest lips i have ever seen on a women. they are big and horrible. she also has a lesbian type throat. you can clearly see her manly adams apple at times.
she is physically a lesbian looking type women, more manliness looks than womenish looks.
she puts me off and i fail to understand how a lot of people think she is sexy. i do not get any womenish feelings from her. there is something weird about her.
iam a stud, and i recognize a womens internal beauty the moment i look at her. priyanka chopra does not have any of it. she is just for show and she is pretentious.
