Lootera background score plagiarised from ‘One Day’?

Loved the background score of Lootera? We did too. Sadly, like a reader (Suniel) on our website pointed out on the trailer page, the background music has been plagiarised from Anne Hathaway’s ‘One Day’.

The credit for the score should in fact go to the original composer Rachel Portman, not Amit Trivedi (Note: Trivedi has been credited as the music composer of Lootera, not confirmed if he has done the BGM too).

Videos of both the tracks below. You be the judge!
