Not many expected Life Partner to pick up at the box office after a slow start. But the film, completely outshined pre-release due to Vishal Bhardwaj’s Kaminey, picked up big time on Saturday and did equally good business on Sunday. The word of mouth is very positive.

Weekend business is 6 crores plus and with release scheduled in Mumbai and Pune on Monday, the collections should be upwards of 10 crores for Week 1.

With no big release until Wanted and Dil Bole Hadippa during Eid, second weekend collections, especially in Mumbai, should be very strong!
