i agree wid Sheeba completely. Bachchan Jr needs serious acting lessons.why does he not learn something from his gifted parents’ acting skills?? tho he seemed to have a very promising career after we saw him in refugee & i as a viewer had high hopes from him n despite one flop after another i held on to the belief that like his dad he will finally emerge as a good actor after a series of flops. but now after all this patronage n promotion from his father (for guru), n failure to deliver on his part, i’ve completely given up on it.

The last scenes of the movie ruined the whole movie! If the director who did a wonderful movie like Parineeta thought correctly wouldn’t end the movie this way, it was a disaster! As if he wanted to tell all men and families: accept a prostitute to be a member in your family! accept a prostitute woman to be your wife!! OK, a man would fall for a prostitute after sleeping with her and give him pleasure and if she want to live a clean and a decent life, and based on a big love story and desire a man would sacrifice and accept the woman, but Abhishek didn’t live a big and strong love story with Rani in the movie. He just admired her!
Life of a woman who is a prostitute is very hard. I can’t forget Shabana Azmi’s movie (Bahavna) one of her best movies and how she portrayed a prostitute in the film, how much she suffered, how much she sacrificed, how much she paid for the sake of her son’s career.
Can’t compare this movie with Bahavna. I’d like to suggest to directors to do a remake of Bahavna for the new generation.

i think the actors were brilliant in their individual capacity, however more realistic performance could have been extracted from Konkana & Abhishek. the plot, however did tend to become melodramatic & predictable at times, as compaerd to the first half which was brilliant.
coming to the second half, Mr Sarkar seems to have mixed up between a PR professional & an escort
& also do trainees get such a lot of attention in ad firms from top shots like the creative head???? that part should have had better lines etc not the typical hindi masala movies,particularly konkana, keeping in mind the rest of the film’s “reality bites”. however it was a grt relief to see Kunal Kapoor in a role where he had more scope for talking.

Finally Bollywood attempted to write a good story especially regarding high profile escorts which has been prevalent in india but has been a hush hush matter. I give sarkar kudos for touching very sensitive areas of life. Rani & konkona acted very well . The second half of the movie turned out to be stale & unrealistic.
“Abishek Bachan” for gods sake need to get his act together. Is that called acting or just casual attitude. Boy he can’t act. Shah ruk would have done justice to that role

I thought this film was excellent, the scenery and songs worked well together bringing together the whole feel of the film

Rani Mukherjee gave an excellent performance along side Jaya Bhachan. All actors and actresses worked well together. Definitely worth seeing on the big screen.

A movie with a perfect star-cast. It seems that the characters of the film were actually waiting fr the respective actors to play them. Rani is fanatabulous, Konkona is note worthy, Kunal is very good. The storyline of the movie is nothing new, but Pradip Sarkar have stressed on the common human values and emotions which touches our inner-selfves.

The movie was extremely gud…rani’s acting was outstanding…..the story was known but rani’s acting was awesome………..the movie is hit……..she is not only a good actor but also a very gud human being……im a big fan of u rani……….i like ur smile and i like ur voice too……….all d best for ur upcoming movies!!!!!!!

How cld a brilliant director like Pradeep sarkar associate and devalue a known profession by associating it with high social circle escorts.

Being from the PR field and being a consultant myself it was too humiliating to be clubed as a combo offer, a package vr u get everythin on the platter from PR to escorts. The lines actually said so evidently that a PR person has to be an escort to high society people to win contracts and business.

I think a little courtesy should be shown for professions and not be put in wrong light for audience to understand.

Being in the industry for good 10 years we can’t take lying down if the word PR meant was only wine and dine and be there to do that to win that. Its more than just building relations.

We are communication specialist!!! Mind u.

Film is very nice. Rani is all in all of this movie. Rani’s performance is memorable, abhishek is looking again smart. Overall movie is very nice with some dots :)
