Krrish 3 is proving to be unstoppable at the domestic box office. On Tuesday, the film collected Rs 26.26 crore net, taking it’s 5-day business to a mind-boggling total of Rs 134.87 crore. The Hrithik Roshan starrer has managed to collect an average of Rs 26.97 crore per day, even though it released during the dull pre-Diwali period.
More importantly, the word-of-mouth for the film, especially in smaller cities and towns, is absolutely fantastic. Kids are also taking to the film big-time, which explains just why the film hasn’t dropped below the 20 crore mark in its first 5 days (even if business from regional versions is excluded).
Krrish 3 Super Hit with the audience
Krrish 3 is now set to be the highest grosser of all time. The Hindi version of the film needs to collect around 100-101 crore to go past the lifetime business of Chennai Express.

- Saturday – 23.2 crore
- Sunday – 24.3 crore
- Monday – 35.91 crore (holiday)
- Tuesday – 26.26 crore (holiday in some parts of the country)
- Total Collections – 134.87 crore (including Tamil and Telugu versions)

So, K3 is all set to break in to big club. The 5 days were crucial and K3 has surpassed the expectation. Now, wom is what will sustain it and help it get past 200 cr.
Today and tomorrow is very crucial for that, and if it collects around 9-10 cr then it can take off well in the coming weekend.

Krrish 3 is looking set for a huge Tuesday with collections looking to cross the 20 crore nett mark which will take the film to a little over 100 crore nett in five days.
The family audience has taken to the film in a big way and now the film can go anywhere with the possibility of being the highest grosser of all time.
North India and Central India which are the key mass belts have been phenomenal since Monday. The metros are not performing as well as the other centres but thats mainly due to the fact the collections outside the four big metros are simply phenomenal.
The weekend collections of Krrish 3 were the seventh highest of all time but the first seven day figures will go into third place and even possibly second place.

I just wonder how much it would have earned if it released on Monday after Diwali. It could have been unprecedented. Most of the other recent blockbusters like CE earned most of the money in their opening weekend during their Honeymoon period ( read “Hype”). But since Krrish 3 earned so much money in its fifth day does prove that it has had a very good word of mouth..
