Rajinikanth’s Kochadaiiyaan is all set to release in theatres on January 10th 2014. The music of the film, composed by A R Rahman, will be unveiled at an event in December.
“Our co-producer Murali Manohar has zeroed in on January 10th as the release date of ‘Kochadaiiyaan’, which is inching closer to completion” said a spokesperson.
‘The film’s audio is likely to be unveiled on Rajinikanth’s birthday Dec 12 or on some other day in the same month. We have to check with A.R. Rahman on his availability,” he added
Initially scheduled to release on Rajnikanth’s birthday, the release of the film has been delayed by a month as it isn’t complete yet.
Directed by Soundarya Rajinikanth, the film also stars Deepika Padukone, Jackie Shroff, R. Sarath Kumar, Aadi Pinisetty, Shobana, Rukmini Vijaykumar and Nassar.

Dhoom 3 is releasing full 18 days before Kochadaiyan. Soo ot wont have much effect on its Box office. And it will do 250 crores in first 15 days itself. So no worries.
@r20 its a good news for D3, because it was supposed to release on dec12th,2013 just 8 days before and if one believe on rajni fan following than its little difficult to d3 to get screens as desired and it will also give dent to d3 collection but now it will released on 10th jan 3 week after d3 release so till than almost 95% collection done by d3 then, than a slightly big hurdle on d3 way is move on coincidently.

First announced to release in 2012 diwali then postponed to 2013 may then again postpone to 2013 diwali then again for 2013 12th dec on rajni sir birthday now again to jan 10th !! Oh my god , waited for these film every single day !! RIP TO DHOOM3 & JAI HO !!!
srk is nothing without rajnikaanth, even the name of rajni makes his film hit, which even saved ra.one which was going to be a very huge disaster, rajni took it from disaster to flop. srk again used rajni name for lungi dance , he took help from honey singh when none of the song was famous, lungi dance,honey singh,rajnikaanth and rohit shetty are the real credits of ce success, srk contributed only 10 rupees.
srk fans lol on you, next year if gabbar clashes with happy new year, i bet happy new year will be disaster.

Welcome for Rajani sir … Surely the movie will going to be biggest blockbuster in indian cinema. Bus some ppl says it will affects Dhoom 3 and Jai ho collections . I dont agree with that because D3 has 3 open weeks, enough for get huge total . And jai ho will release after about 2 weeks hence the impact of the movie on collections not going to be huge..
Oh we all Know Robot hindi version Was an average grosser on Indian BO..It Was ATBB in Tamilnadu Only nd super hit Oversease…so don’t think It Will affect D3 or #Jai Ho By Any Means on Indian BO might affect in Tamilnadu but Tamilnadu is not the huge market for Hindi Films anyways…..infact I Feel D3 nd Jai Ho might Affect Rajni’s Movie on Indian BO….
Yashray and Abhishek’s Dhoom3 will be a great film, it’s not Aamir’s film idiots. Dhoom is a merchandise which went terrific for John and Hritik, Aamir Khan will make it a flop. Just like JAIL HO.
