One of our very reliable sources informs – Khiladi 786 might opt out of the Diwali clash and release late this year (unlikely) or early 2013 (likely).
While the news is not confirmed, it does make a lot of sense. Clashing against SRK-Chopra and Ajay Devgan’s Son of Sardar, would affect all films. The film will be limited to a smaller release, especially at some single screens where they play just one film. The number of shows will be lesser at multiplexes, and the audience will be forced to make a choice between the three films. Not many can afford 2 films a week, forget three!
At times when even Hollywood films are strongly competing against Hindi films, releasing two other films on the same day as a SRK – Katrina Kaif starrer is suicidal.
Let’s hope common sense prevails and Khiladi 786 gets shifted to different date. Expect the confirmation soon!

srk fans if akki can’t compete with srk then why you want the film to postpone? you should accept challenge, and not be affraid, and yeh akki is soo afraid that’s why he puts his stardom on the line every 2 months. Anyway back to Khiladi786, the shooting is still yet to go on floors, hence it’s unlikely to make it to diwali, i don’t know why the shooting hasn’t started, maybe production problems. akki has alredy slapped srk with houseful 2 outgrossing don and likely to outgross ra1, another diwali film.
