Khelein Hum Jee Jaan Sey: Ashutosh Gowariker begins shoot

Ashutosh Gowariker is all set to direct his next after the not-so-successful What’s Your Rashee that released a couple of months ago.
After working with the top stars in the industry in Lagaan, Swades and Jodha Akbar, Ashutosh has signed on Abhishek Bachchan and Deepika Padukone for Khelein Hum Jee Jaan Sey, which went on floors a couple of days ago in Goa.
The movie based on the 1930 Chittagong Uprising, is produced by Sunita Gowariker, Sanjeev Bijli and Ajay Bijli. Abhishek Bachchan plays the role of freedom fighter Masterda Surya Sen in the film.
Recently, Asin opted out of the project and Deepika Padukone was roped in to play the female lead, which according to sources, isn’t too lengthy.
We wish Ashutosh and the entire team of Khelein Hum Jee Jaan Sey, the very best for the big budget project.

hummm wht we have to say abt it i want to say only one thing that historical movie does suite to ashutush like lagan and jodha akbar, he has only two it movies in his career and both were historical so may be he dicided a historical movie again. batter luck with him . he aleardy started shooting so i think this movie should comlete within 6 months and 3 months for editing and other technical work and 3 month for promotion so may be late 2010 nov or dec it will be good time for releasing.

Ashutosh Gowarikar is a master of making historical films.So I believe he will do a great job with Khelein Hum Jee Jaan Sey.Since I am a resident of Chittagong, I am very much proud of masterda & I am eagerly waiting for the film.

Sorry for being a little late.However, Masterda Surya Sen was agreat patriot.He had made almost inependent a part of India.But unfortunately that glory continued only for two days because of a traitor.Eventually, he was hung by the british rulers.You’ll get more details in this link http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/masterda
